Healed

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious child in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed this child in their mother’s womb and knows every cell, every thought, and every need. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon their brain and entire body. Lord, Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise and ask for complete restoration, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

We also recognize that healing comes from You alone, and we humbly submit to Your will, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). If there are areas in this child’s life or family where sin or disobedience may be hindering Your blessing, we ask for conviction and repentance. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear in Jesus’ mighty name, for "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15).

Father, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved. Give them discernment, skill, and compassion as they treat this child. Surround this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them feel Your presence in the midst of this trial. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up the parents and caregivers, asking for strength, patience, and unwavering faith. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May this trial draw them closer to You and to one another, and may they see Your hand at work even in the smallest details.

Lord, we declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life, health, and wholeness over them in the name of Jesus. We believe that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we thank You for the victory even before we see it. Strengthen this family’s faith, and let them be a testimony of Your goodness and power.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re holding your child, and you, close in our hearts today. When a parent is carrying the weight of a child’s illness, and especially something as personal as his brain, the nights can feel long and the fears relentless. We just want you to know you’re not alone in this. We’re praying with you, and we’ll keep praying.

It’s okay to feel worn down right now. You don’t need to have perfect words or unwavering faith; you can simply bring your son to Jesus the way you are, over and over. He already knows exactly what he needs, and his mercy doesn’t run out.

Even as we ask God to restore what’s damaged and bring full healing, we’re also thinking practically: if you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to make sure he’s being seen by a doctor or specialist you trust. Medical wisdom is a gift from God too, and we can pray with confidence while also availing ourselves of good care.

In the meantime, don’t carry this alone. Let a few trusted friends or people from your church family know what you’re facing so they can come alongside with meals, a listening ear, or simply sitting with you in the waiting.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this precious child to you now. You know every cell, every pathway in his brain, and nothing is hidden from you. We ask for your healing touch, restore what is not functioning as it should, bring peace to this family, and steady their hearts when the road feels too hard. Give the doctors insight, and give this parent the strength to keep hoping. Enfold them in your love tonight. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart has ascended to the throne of grace, where the Lord Jesus sits as the Great Physician. His healing leaves are not withered, and the very least thing about Him has virtue to restore. Do not think the case too hard or the affliction beyond His reach. When the power of the Lord was present to heal, they broke open the roof to bring the palsied man into His presence. Bring your child before Him now in the shameless determination of faith. The brains of a child are not too intricate for Him who fashioned them in secret and knows every thread of their fabric. He is able to speak the word, and the fevered faculties shall be calmed, the darkened understanding enlightened, and the wounded mind made whole.

But seek first the pardon that walks hand in hand with healing. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He began not with the body, but with the soul, "Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee." Many a child of God, when weary, has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy. Pray then, not as one laying a claim by right, but as a sinner pleading the blood of the covenant. Let your prayer be like Jacob’s, argumentative and lowly, spreading the case before Him. Say, "Lord, Thou hast given me this child; Thou art the God of the families of Thy people; Thou dost not willingly afflict. O speak, Lord, for Thy servant hears, and let the healing power that flows from Calvary touch this little one." Do not let a sense of unworthiness drive you from the Mercy Seat. The prayer that staggers and seems to lack sense because the heart is at its wit's end is often the prayer that prevails.

Unite your petition with the prayers of the Church. The power to heal was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching and when the people were gathered. The saints must pray if they would have the healing power. Do not forsake the assembly, nor think little of the supplications of God’s believing people. And if the answer tarries, do not faint. Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. Though the night be dark and no voice breaks the silence, still cry, "Speak, Lord; for Thy servant hears." The Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings, and your child, restored in mind and body, shall yet join with the healed nations in the ceaseless praise of the Lamb.

A parent’s heart is pierced to the marrow when a child’s body fails, and even more when the suffering touches the seat of thought and memory. But now listen carefully, for the only true healing comes from above, and many things offered in the marketplace of this world are poison painted as medicine. Have nothing to do with amulets, charms, or those who whisper incantations, even if they claim to be Christians and call upon the name of God. That is idolatry, a denial of the Cross. The faithful soul has but one weapon and one remedy: make the sign of the Cross over your child, and say, “This is my defense; other I know none.”

Look to the parents of Moses. When Pharaoh commanded every male infant of the Hebrews to be cast into the river, they did not despair. They saw that the child was fair, and by faith they hid him, trusting God’s grace that already rested upon him. You, too, hold your child as a sacred trust. The God who fashioned that brain in secret knows its every hidden part and can command it to be whole. Let your prayer be constant and your tears be many, but let them be mingled with almsgiving and mercy to the poor. For alms are the wings of supplication, and when prayer is joined to love of neighbor, it mounts swiftly to the throne of heaven.

Do not grow weary if the healing delays, nor let anyone persuade you that your labor is in vain. A tree may receive many strokes of the axe and seem unchanged, yet one last blow brings it down, because the former strokes were not wasted. So it is with the soul that hears God’s word and persists in prayer: the fruit may appear all at once, but the ground was prepared through many days of faithfulness. Continue, then, in prayer, in the hearing of Scripture, and in works of charity, and do not listen to those who say, “It is too late.”

Even should the worst befall, the child is not dead but sleeps. Resurrection is his portion, and eternal life, and an angel’s lot. God Himself calls a righteous death a bountiful dealing, and shall we afflict ourselves as the hopeless heathen? Say rather, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” I will add my own petitions to yours, that the Healer of souls and bodies may touch your child and, if it be for salvation, restore him completely. But above all, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and entrust all else into those pierced hands that stretched out upon the Cross for us.

Your words carry the weight of a parent’s love, and I want you to know you are not alone in this cry. The Scriptures show us again and again that God draws near to a desperate heart, especially when it’s a mother or father pleading for their child.

Think of how Jesus once took a little child into His arms. He didn’t just speak a word from a distance; He gathered that child close, held him, and made it profoundly clear that to welcome a child is to welcome Him. Right now, in ways you cannot see, your child is held in those same arms. The Lord who designed every delicate part of the brain, the intricate pathways that catalog sounds, recognize faces, and store every precious memory, knows exactly what needs to be restored. He formed that mind, and He is not distant from its pain.

The gospel records a healing where a man’s sight came back in stages. Jesus laid His hands on him once, and he saw people who looked like trees walking. Then Jesus touched him again, and his sight was made whole. This is the only gradual miracle recorded, and it tells us something important. We don’t always understand why some healings come in an instant while others unfold slowly or seemingly not at all. There is mystery here that even the most faithful wrestle with. But any movement toward wholeness, whether a sudden miracle or the slow, day-by-day repair of what is broken, is touched by divine hands.

I remember hearing of a child whose stomach lining was badly burned by something he swallowed. Eating brought convulsions and agony, so the hunger pangs had to outweigh the pain of food before he would eat. There was nothing the doctors could do but wait for the slow healing processes. Someone who had seen that child in a dream simply asked to hold him and pray. The prayer wasn’t elaborate; it was the effectual, fervent cry of a righteous heart, the kind that rises out of sheer desperation. After that prayer, the child said, “Mommy, I’m hungry,” and when she fed him, the pain did not come. God met a mother’s anguish with a simple, quiet touch.

That same persistent love is seen when Elisha sent his servant ahead with his staff to lay it on a dead boy’s face, yet nothing happened. Elisha did not accept the report as final. He went into the room, shut the door, and stretched himself out on the child, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands, until the flesh began to warm. He paced the house, returned, and stretched himself out again. His intercession was physical, intimate, and unwilling to let go. That is what fervent prayer looks like: not a formula, but a wrestling through until the warmth of life returns.

You may find your prayers, at times, beyond words, just groans and mental cries lifted toward the Father. That is enough. The Spirit ministers to our hearts in those moments, bringing comfort and assurance when we have no language left. The purpose of prayer is not to convince a reluctant God but to align us with His will, which is always good. He becomes what you need right now: the Lord who heals, Jehovah Rapha, attending to the very brain waves and neural paths you are crying out for.

Some nights you may feel like David, who lay with his face in the dirt for days while his child was sick. He refused to eat; he wept and pleaded. And when the child was taken, he rose, washed, and worshiped, saying, “I shall go to him, but he will not return to me.” David’s prayers did not change the outcome he wanted, yet he found a deeper surrender. We trust God for complete restoration even while we hold the truth that His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. No prayer from a parent’s heart is wasted. Every tear is gathered.

So as you walk this road, know that many are agreeing with you in prayer. Where two or three are gathered in His name, or simply united in spirit across distance, there is a promise of His presence and power. The fervent, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person carries great weight. I will join my faith with yours, asking that the brain be fully restored, that every damaged connection be rewired, and that your child know the tangible peace of Christ’s healing touch.

Hold fast, and do not stop bringing your child to Jesus. He is the one who still takes little ones in His arms. He is not limited to a particular night or a certain platform; He is the living God who hears you right where you are.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your child’s healing—especially for his brain. It has been on our hearts to lift him before the Lord, asking for His divine touch, restoration, and perfect peace to surround him. We believe in a God who heals, who knits together every part of our bodies, and who holds your child in the palm of His hand.

If you’ve seen God’s healing power at work in your child’s life, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. There is nothing that stirs our faith more than witnessing God’s faithfulness in answer to prayer. If, however, the healing you’re believing for hasn’t yet manifested, please know we are still here with you. We invite you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf, trusting that God hears and answers in His perfect timing and way.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His comfort, strength, and hope as you continue to seek Him. We pray that your child experiences the fullness of God’s healing and that your faith grows deeper through this journey. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
