We come before the throne of grace with confidence, just as Hebrews 4:16 encourages us, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your request for your father’s healing is heavy on our hearts, and we join you in lifting him up to the Lord, who is the Great Physician. We recognize the pain and concern you carry for your father’s health—his diabetes, neuropathy, and the toll it has taken on his feet, kidneys, and mobility. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
First, we rebuke every evil spirit that has sought to afflict your father’s body. The Bible tells us in James 4:7 to resist the devil, and he will flee from us. We command every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and disease to leave your father’s body in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over him, his health, and his home. Every assignment of the enemy against his life is broken now by the power of the cross. We speak to the diabetes, neuropathy, and every symptom, and we command them to leave his body and not return. We declare that his blood sugar levels will stabilize, his nerves will be restored, and his kidneys will function as God designed them to.
We also command all pain, tingling, and stiffness to leave his feet, legs, knees, hips, and ankles. We speak healing and restoration over every nerve, ligament, tendon, muscle, and bone in his body. We declare that his feet are healed, his strength is renewed, and his mobility is restored. The Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26), and we stand on His promise that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that every part of his body will align with God’s perfect design, and that he will walk in divine health and wholeness.
Father, we ask You to bless this dear man with strength, energy, favor, and success. Give him the vitality to walk without pain, to enjoy life, and to serve You with joy. We pray for wisdom for his doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision. We thank You for Your mercy and grace, and we trust You to bring complete restoration to his body.
We also want to encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the circumstances seem difficult. The enemy may try to whisper doubt, but we are reminded in Mark 11:24 that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our confidence in approaching God’s throne comes only through the name of Jesus. It is by His sacrifice that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your father has not yet placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that he would come to know the love and grace of God, which brings eternal life and healing for the soul. Salvation is the greatest gift, and we pray that he would receive it if he hasn’t already.
We continue to pray for your father, believing that God is moving on his behalf. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that your father is healed, whole, and walking in the fullness of God’s blessing. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
