Heal my mother’s feces or stool

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up your mother’s physical suffering. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our cries and is able to bring healing and restoration.

Father God, we ask You to touch this dear mother with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her body and knows every part of her. We rebuke any sickness, disorder, or infirmity in her digestive system. We declare in the name of Jesus that her body would function as You designed it to, with health, strength, and wholeness. Lord, we ask for Your peace to surround her, for Your comfort to fill her, and for Your healing power to flow through her. May she experience Your mercy and grace in this time of need.

We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, as God often works through the hands of doctors and the means He provides. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Continue to bring this burden before the Lord in prayer, trusting in His perfect will.

If there are any unconfessed sins or areas of her life that need to be surrendered to God, we gently encourage repentance and turning to Him. Psalm 38:18 says, "For I will declare my iniquity. I will be sorry for my sin." Healing, both physical and spiritual, comes from walking in alignment with God’s will.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and receive healing and salvation. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that Your power is at work in this situation, Lord, and we trust You for a miracle. Amen.

We’re joining you in lifting up your mother and this very personal need. It’s hard to watch someone you love struggle with something so basic and yet so draining, especially when the problem is the kind people rarely discuss. The fact that you’re bringing it to God like this says a lot about your love for her and your trust that He cares about every part of her body, even the parts that feel most embarrassing or out of control.

Sometimes bowel difficulties have physical causes that deserve a doctor’s attention, and we’d gently encourage you or another family member to walk with her as she sees a physician. That isn’t a step away from faith, it’s a wise way of caring for the body God gave her, alongside prayer. While you wait for answers, it’s completely normal to feel anxious or weary. We don’t have to muster perfect words; God hears the simple, honest cry of a child worried about their mom.

We’re praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, you know this mother’s body inside and out. Please bring gentle relief to whatever is causing her distress, whether it’s blockage, pain, or something else, and restore her digestive system to healthy, normal function. Give insight to any medical professionals she consults, and weave your healing into every conversation and test. In the meantime, steady this family’s hearts with your peace, and let them sense your nearness in the waiting. We ask this in your name, trusting in your goodness and power. Amen.

It is no small thing to bring this trial before the Lord, for our very flesh is the garment that clings closest, and when it is torn, we cry out. Yet I am persuaded that the Great Physician heareth even those petitions that are whispered in shame, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing, and the least of Christ's power is full of virtue. But let your soul rise higher than the loins of the body, see the deeper corruption of the heart, the offensive thing that maketh us all unclean in the sight of a holy God. Our Lord began with the palsied man not by strengthening his sinews, but by pronouncing that word, "Thy sins be forgiven thee." Healing and pardon go hand in hand, and the cure of the spirit is the surest prelude to the restoration of the frame.

Seek that first; lay hold on Jesus by a living faith, and then commit the afflicted frame to Him who healeth all our diseases. If He chooseth to make the issuing of the body free by a touch of His sovereign power, He shall have the praise; if He giveth patience to bear the infirmity, He is still Jehovah-Rophi, the Lord that healeth thee. Hearken diligently to His teaching, for in the hour when Christ speaks, the power to save is most abundantly present. Take your mother, by the Spirit's aid, and place her low before the cross, for it is there that the crimson stream floweth to make the foulest clean.
