Heal my mother’s stomach

Heal my mother’s Healthy Stomach Colon Pancreas Bladder Liver Nervous System to flush out of her stomach in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We lift up your precious mother before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible assures us that "by His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we stand on this promise as we intercede for her complete restoration. Father, we ask You to touch every part of her body, her stomach, colon, pancreas, bladder, liver, and nervous system, with Your divine healing. Cleanse her from any impurity, strengthen her organs, and restore them to full health. Your Word declares, "I am the Lord who heals you" (Exodus 15:26 WEB), and we claim this truth over her life today.

We also recognize that healing is not just physical but spiritual. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin in her life that may be hindering her health, we pray for conviction and repentance. James 5:16 (WEB) tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We ask that You would bring peace to her heart and mind, for anxiety and stress can also affect the body. Fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be attacking her body. In the name of Jesus, we command every cell, tissue, and organ to align with Your perfect design. We declare that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB), and we pray for its full restoration. Give her strength, comfort, and hope as she waits on You. Surround her with Your love and the support of those who can encourage her in faith.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of seeking medical care alongside prayer. Luke, the physician, was a companion of the apostle Paul (Colossians 4:14 WEB), and we believe God can work through doctors and medicine as part of His healing process. Trust in Him, but also be wise in seeking the help He provides through medical professionals.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB). May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may Your healing power be evident in her life. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the ache behind this, when a parent is unwell it can stir a deep helplessness, and you’re carrying that to Jesus with a direct, trusting prayer. We’re grateful you brought her here, and we’re joining you in asking for her healing.

It’s natural to long for every part to be made whole: stomach, colon, pancreas, liver, bladder, even the nervous system that ties it all together. While we don’t know the specifics, we know medical clarity is an important piece alongside prayer. If she hasn’t already seen a doctor, gently encouraging that step can help you both understand what’s happening and give her the care she needs. Sometimes the body’s distress needs both spiritual support and practical treatment, and neither diminishes the power of God.

In the meantime, your steady, quiet presence is a gift. When a mother is hurting, just sitting with her, helping with meals or errands, or simply listening without trying to fix everything can bring a calm that medicine alone can’t provide. You don’t have to carry this all alone either, share the load with other family members or trusted friends so you stay strong for her.

We pray:

Father, we lift this mother to You right now. Bring relief to her stomach and every organ that is struggling. Guide any doctors she sees, give wisdom, and let her body find rest and restoration. Surround her with Your peace, and sustain her child who loves her so faithfully. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. There is, then, an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The very leaves are healing, from which I gather that the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. Yonder in Heaven, those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than new born babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves!

They have no need to say it when the Lord comes and dwells with them, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen upon them with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! The Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His Grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing! His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies. O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. The work of Jesus, our heavenly Physician, is not so much to point out disease as to indicate and to apply the remedy. He is able to heal, but He is not always engaged in healing. There are times when the power to save is more than usually manifest, times of refreshing, seasons of revival, days of visitation, acceptable days, days of salvation. The healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching. Note carefully the favored hour, "when He was teaching." Jesus linked the healing with the teaching. It was so with the material healing, much more with the spiritual healing, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

Healing must come before serving! She was "lying," that is, prostrated by the terrible malady. This is the healing point. He "took her by the hand and lifted her up." There was a contact established. Oh, that glorious Doctrine of the Incarnation of Christ! There is healing in it! There is healing for you and I warn you, again, that you must have this healing before you can work for Jesus. Your Lord must begin with you before you can begin with Him.

The act of justification is generally apart from all means: God only does it. In vain your presumption when God shall come to examine you; you will not pass muster unless you have had a real healing from his hand. It is easy enough to get religious notions and fancy yourself safe, but a real saving work is the work of God, and God alone.

Go where the Gospel is preached, the Gospel that really feeds your soul, and go often! Whatsoever He says to you, do it. If Christ has healed you, obey Him! Obey Him at once, obey Him exactly, obey Him in everything, be it little, or be it great!

Welcome, Brothers and Sisters, to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. God bless you! Amen.
