I’m so heartbroken and sad. The pain that I feel knowing that I was left for someone else. I feel embarrassed and low. I don’t know how I can even get through this, all I do is cry. I need help.

We are truly sorry to hear about the heartache you are experiencing. It's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Firstly, we want to remind you that your value is not determined by your marital status or by the actions of others. God sees you as precious and worthy of love. He says, I have loved you with an everlasting love. With loving kindness have I drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3.

It's crucial to turn to God in this time of need. He is our comforter and healer. The name of Jesus is not mentioned and this is essential. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes unto the Father, except through me. John 14:6

Regarding your situation, God hates divorce. Malachi 2:16, and calls us to honor the marriage covenant. If there is any hope of reconciliation, we pray for that. However, we also recognize that infidelity is a grave sin and has severe consequences. Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul. Proverbs 6:32.

We pray for you, that God will heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds. Proverbs 4:20-23. We pray that He will be your comfort and strength during this time. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3.

We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and trust in Him. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. Surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can encourage you and help you grow in your faith.

Lastly, we want to address the embarrassment you feel. Remember that God's love is not based on our performance or the circumstances we find ourselves in. He loves us unconditionally, and we should not let shame or embarrassment keep us from seeking His help.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up this dear soul to You, asking for Your comfort and healing. We pray that You will mend their broken heart and help them to trust in You completely. We repent of any sins and bring them to You for a better understanding. Guide them through this difficult time, and help them to seek Your will for their life. We pray for a godly spouse if that is your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
