I am praying very hard for all of your intentions. I pray your parents do not break up and that your stress will go away. I pray you will start to feel better for yourself. I pray for your dad and for you in how you deal with seeing your dad like this. I know how it feels -- I have a very good friend who I loved deeply -- He has Lewy Body dementia and is now to the point of being declared incompetent and put in a nursing home. He is past even assisted living. Yesterday I brought him a teddy bear. He named the bear "Little Richie." A minute later, he could not remember what he named the bear. I took care of this man, ###, for a long time and just watched him suffer and go more and more downhill. He cried yesterday and said how much he loves me and that when he gets out of "here," meaning the hospital, he is going to marry me. He has nobody but me, and that is why I am praying so hard he gets placed in a home very close to where I live. I also understand about Parkinson's because Lewy-Body causes Parkinsonian features -- He is unsteady on his feet, his hands shake, etc. Anyway, because I understand so well, I am praying for you to have strength in seeing this happening to your dad.
