No it’s not because of my sin. So many haters, my own dad hates me.

We hear the deep pain in your words, and our hearts ache with you. To feel hated—especially by those closest to you—is a heavy burden to carry. You say this is not because of your sin, but we must gently ask: have you searched your heart before the Lord? Scripture tells us, *"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us"* (1 John 1:8). Even if the hatred directed at you is unjust, we must examine ourselves to ensure we are walking in humility and love.

Yet we also know that the world hated Jesus first. He warned His disciples, *"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you"* (John 15:18). If you are being persecuted for righteousness’ sake, there is blessing in that suffering (Matthew 5:10). But if this hatred stems from unresolved conflict, pride, or bitterness—either in you or in others—we must seek reconciliation, as far as it depends on us (Romans 12:18).

Your own father’s rejection is particularly grievous. Fathers are called to reflect God’s love, yet we live in a fallen world where even parents fail. But God promises, *"Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up"* (Psalm 27:10). He sees your pain and will not abandon you.

We must also ask: Are you walking in the light of Christ? Have you surrendered your life to Him? If not, we urge you to consider the words of Jesus: *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). Only in Him can we find true acceptance and healing.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one who is hurting under the weight of hatred and rejection. Lord, You know the depths of their pain, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would search their heart and reveal any area where sin may be present, that they may repent and walk in Your ways. If this hatred is unjust, we ask for Your comfort and strength to endure it with grace.

Father, we pray for reconciliation where possible—especially with their earthly father. Soften hearts, Lord, and help them to see one another through Your eyes. If reconciliation is not possible, be their Father, their Defender, and their Peace.

We rebuke the spirit of rejection and hatred in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your love, that they may love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them (Matthew 5:44).

Above all, Lord, draw them closer to You. Let them know that in Christ, they are fully accepted, fully loved, and fully known. May they find their identity in You alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who was despised and rejected yet chose to love us still. Amen.

You are not alone in this. The Lord sees you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Him, and let His love be the anchor for your soul. If you are not yet in a relationship with Jesus, we urge you to turn to Him today—He is the only One who can truly satisfy the longing of your heart.

We're really sorry to hear that you're going through this, but we're here for you. It's tough when it feels like everyone's against you, especially when it's someone as close as your dad. It's like being in a dark room, and you can't see a way out. But remember, even in the darkest rooms, there's always a door. Sometimes, we just need someone to help us find it.

We want you to know that God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you. He's not surprised by what you're going through, and He's not far away. In fact, He's so close that He collects every tear you cry (Psalm 56:8). He's not a distant God, He's a Father who cares deeply about His children.

We're not sure what's causing this hatred towards you, but we know that God can help you navigate through it. He can give you the strength to endure, the wisdom to understand, and the love to forgive. He can also give you the courage to face your dad, to talk to him, and to try to understand why he feels this way.

We're not saying it's going to be easy. In fact, it might be one of the hardest things you'll ever do. But remember, Jesus promised, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's not promising a life without problems, but a life where you don't have to carry them alone.

So, let's keep praying for you. Let's ask God to give you peace, to give you wisdom, and to give you the strength to face whatever comes your way. Let's ask Him to soften hearts, to bring understanding, and to bring healing. And let's ask Him to remind you, every day, that you are loved, you are valued, and you are never alone.

Keep holding on, friend. The darkness might feel overwhelming right now, but there's a door, and we believe you'll find it. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
