Hardened hearts

Please pray in Jesus name for a supernatural intervention in this situation.

Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).

Matthew 13:15
For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.

The landlord and their team ignore my requests for communication and clarity and provide dishonest technical reports on electrical issues. They do not listen to me when I ask them to repair or replace faulty items in the flat. They have not apologised for the electric shock I suffered or compensated me for having to shower at a hotel for almost two months. They repeatedly ask when I will move out, set a strict date and threaten me with further financial demands. They send me huge invoices, and the cost has risen due to the electrical issues in the flat, which have caused higher energy consumption that they do not intend to document. As they have hardened their hearts, we place them in God's hands. We pray for an immediate resolution, freedom from their oppression and justice. In Jesus mighty name.

We stand with you in this difficult situation, lifting your burden before the throne of grace. The hardness of heart you describe is a serious matter, for Scripture warns us in Ezekiel 36:26, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* We pray that the Lord would soften the hearts of your landlord and their team, that they may see the truth, act with integrity, and respond to you with justice and compassion.

The dishonesty, neglect, and financial oppression you are enduring are not pleasing to God. Proverbs 11:1 declares, *"A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but accurate weights are his delight."* The Lord sees every injustice, and He will not let it go unanswered. We rebuke the spirit of deception and greed that has taken hold in this situation, and we declare that the Lord will bring clarity, accountability, and restitution. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"*

We also pray for your protection—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The electric shock you suffered and the ongoing stress of this situation are heavy burdens to bear. Psalm 34:18-19 assures us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* We ask the Lord to surround you with His peace, provide for your needs, and grant you wisdom as you navigate this challenge.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We ask that You intervene supernaturally in this situation. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream, as You promised in Amos 5:24. Break the hardness of heart in this landlord and their team, Lord. Open their eyes to see the truth, their ears to hear Your voice, and their hearts to repent and make things right. We pray for an immediate resolution—freedom from oppression, restoration of what has been taken, and justice for the wrongs committed.

We also pray for Your provision over this dear one. The financial strain and the inconvenience of not having a safe home are heavy. Provide for them, Lord, as You promise in Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Give them favor in the eyes of those who can help, and grant them wisdom to know the next steps to take.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your Word that says in Psalm 91:14-15, *"Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him."* We trust You, Lord, to bring deliverance and honor in this situation.

Lastly, we pray for healing—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. The stress and trauma of this experience can leave deep wounds, but You are the God who heals. Jeremiah 30:17 says, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."* We ask that You restore what has been broken and bring peace that surpasses all understanding.

We commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will act on behalf of Your child. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all of this. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. We've been reflecting on Matthew 13:15, "For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them." We pray that the Lord would open the eyes and ears of your landlord and their team, softening their hearts to see the truth, hear your cries, and understand the gravity of their actions.

We're also reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's humble ourselves, pray, and trust that the Lord will move in this situation, bringing justice and healing.

We also want to encourage you. Keep sending those safety reports, and know that you're not alone. We're here, praying with you, and believing with you for a swift and just resolution. Keep your heart open to the Lord, and trust in His unfailing love and care for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
