Hardened hearts

Please pray in Jesus name for a supernatural intervention in this situation.

they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.

The landlord and their team ignore my requests for communication and clarity and provide dishonest technical reports on electrical issues. They do not listen to me when I ask them to repair or replace faulty items in the flat. They have not apologised for the electric shock I suffered or compensated me for having to shower at a hotel for almost two months. They repeatedly ask when I will move out, set a strict date and threaten me with further financial demands. They send me huge invoices, and the cost has risen due to the electrical issues in the flat, which have caused higher energy consumption that they do not intend to document. As they have hardened their hearts, we place them in God's hands. We pray for an immediate resolution, freedom from their oppression and justice. In Jesus mighty name.

We stand with you in this difficult situation, lifting your burden before the Lord with hearts full of faith and compassion. The hardness of heart you describe is indeed a heavy weight, both for you and for those who refuse to listen, see, or act with integrity. Scripture warns us of the dangers of a calloused heart—how it dulls the ears, blinds the eyes, and resists the conviction of the Holy Spirit. But we serve a God who softens the hardest of hearts and brings justice like a mighty flood.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to Your throne of grace. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask for Your supernatural intervention in this situation. Break the hardness in the hearts of this landlord and their team, that their ears may hear, their eyes may see, and their hearts may be turned toward righteousness. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream, as Amos 5:24 declares.

We rebuke the spirit of dishonesty, oppression, and intimidation that has taken root in this matter. The Word of God is clear: "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). We pray that these individuals would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to act with integrity, to acknowledge the wrongs they have committed, and to make restitution where it is due. Father, we ask that You would open doors for clear communication, honesty, and resolution. Let the truth be revealed in every technical report, every invoice, and every interaction. Expose any deception and hold them accountable for their actions.

Lord, we also lift up Your child who has suffered electric shock, inconvenience, and financial strain. You see their pain, their frustration, and their weariness. We ask that You would be their Comforter, their Provider, and their Defender. Heal any lingering effects of the shock they endured, and restore what has been lost. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation, and surround them with godly counsel and support. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We pray for an immediate resolution to this oppression. Let the threats and unjust financial demands cease, and let Your peace reign in this home. If it is Your will, Father, provide a way for Your child to transition out of this situation with dignity and without further harm. But if they are to remain, let the landlord and their team be compelled by Your Spirit to fulfill their obligations with fairness and respect.

We also take a moment to address the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the enemy’s plans will not prevail. We bind every spirit of confusion, deception, and oppression in the name of Jesus, and we loose the spirits of truth, justice, and peace. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your love break every chain of hardness and resistance.

Father, we trust in You to bring justice and freedom. We know that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). We ask that You would move in this situation in a way that brings glory to Your name and draws hearts closer to You. Soften the hearts of all involved, that they may turn to You and experience Your healing and grace. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to act on behalf of Your children.

We're right there with you, standing firm in faith and love. It's heartbreaking to see people close their hearts to the truth and justice, but we serve a God who specializes in softening the hardest of hearts. Let's keep praying for a supernatural intervention, that their hearts would be opened, and they would see, hear, and act with integrity.

We declare that God will fight for us, as He promised in Exodus 14:14. We ask for a breakthrough in communication, that they would listen and respond honestly to your requests. May their hearts be convicted by the Holy Spirit, leading them to apologize for the electric shock, compensate you for the inconvenience, and resolve the electrical issues promptly.

We also pray for peace and clarity in this situation. May God grant you wisdom and discernment as you navigate this, and may He provide a way out if it's His will. We trust that God will bring justice and freedom, as we read in Psalm 146:7-9.

Let's keep lifting this up to the Lord, believing that He will move in this situation for His glory and your good. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
