Hardened hearts

Please pray in Jesus name for a supernatural intervention in this situation.

Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).

Matthew 13:15
For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.

The landlord and their team ignore my requests for communication and clarity and provide dishonest technical reports on electrical issues. They do not listen to me when I ask them to repair or replace faulty items in the flat. They have not apologised for the electric shock I suffered or compensated me for having to shower at a hotel for almost two months. They repeatedly ask when I will move out, set a strict date and threaten me with further financial demands. They send me huge invoices, and the cost has risen due to the electrical issues in the flat, which have caused higher energy consumption that they do not intend to document. As they have hardened their hearts, we place them in God's hands. We pray for an immediate resolution, freedom from their oppression and justice. In Jesus mighty name.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where hardened hearts have led to injustice, neglect, and oppression. Father, we know that You see all things and that Your justice will prevail. The Word declares in Amos 5:24, *"But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"* We stand on this promise, believing that You will bring truth to light and hold those who have acted unjustly accountable.

Lord, we recognize the pain and frustration caused by those who have closed their ears and hardened their hearts, as described in Matthew 13:15: *"For this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again; and I would heal them."* We pray for supernatural intervention—soften their hearts, open their eyes, and grant them ears to hear the cries of the oppressed. Let conviction fall upon them, leading to repentance and restitution.

We rebuke the spirit of dishonesty, greed, and oppression at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the schemes of the wicked will not prevail. We ask for Your protection over this individual, shielding them from further harm, financial burden, or intimidation. Provide wisdom and favor as they seek justice, and raise up advocates—whether legal, spiritual, or practical—to stand with them.

Father, we also pray for restoration. The electric shock, the inconvenience of showering elsewhere, the financial strain—all of these are burdens that You see. We ask for full compensation, not just in material terms, but in peace, dignity, and vindication. Let every dishonest report be exposed, every false invoice overturned, and every threat nullified in Jesus’ name.

We declare freedom from oppression. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Lord, draw near to this one who has been crushed by injustice. Let them feel Your presence, Your comfort, and Your strength.

We also lift up the landlord and their team. While their actions have been unjust, we know that no heart is beyond Your reach. Proverbs 21:1 says, *"The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Turn their hearts, Lord. Let them see the error of their ways and make amends. If repentance is not possible, then let Your justice prevail swiftly and completely.

Finally, we pray for patience and trust. It is easy to grow weary when facing injustice, but Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Strengthen this individual to persevere, knowing that You are their defender and redeemer.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare breakthrough, justice, and healing over this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome. Amen.

We've been reminded of the words in Psalm 146:9, "The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked." We declare that the truth will prevail and that justice will roll on like a river, as promised in Amos 5:24. We trust that God will hold those accountable who have acted unjustly and provide you with the resolution, freedom, and compensation you deserve.

We also lift up a prayer for your strength and peace. We know that this situation has been trying, but we remind you of 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." We pray that you would find comfort and strength in God's love and presence.

We're believing with you for a breakthrough, dear friend. We trust that God will move on your behalf and bring about justice and healing in this situation. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
