Hardened heart

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I ask prayers for my hardened heart. It has hardened to a point where I can't feel contrition. I also have a reprobate mind, and I'm experiencing demonic attacks in my sleep

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you confess the burden of a hardened heart and the spiritual battle you are facing. The Word of God warns us about the dangers of a heart that grows cold and unresponsive to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. In Ezekiel 36:26, the Lord promises, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* This is the transformation we pray for you today—softness where there has been hardness, repentance where there has been resistance, and freedom where there has been bondage.

Your mention of a reprobate mind is serious, for Scripture describes this as a mind that has been given over to sin and deception (Romans 1:28). But we serve a God who is rich in mercy and who delights in restoring the broken and the lost. The enemy may be attacking you in your sleep, but we declare that the blood of Jesus is your protection and the name of Jesus is your authority. In James 4:7, we are commanded, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We stand with you in this resistance, binding every demonic force that seeks to torment you and loosing the peace and presence of the Holy Spirit over your life.

First, we must address the foundation of your relationship with God. If you have not already done so, we urge you to examine your heart and confirm your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. The Bible assures us in Romans 10:9, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* This is the first and most critical step in breaking the chains of hardness and spiritual oppression.

If you are already a believer, we pray that the Lord would rekindle the fire of your first love. In Revelation 2:4-5, Jesus warns the church of Ephesus, *"But I have this against you, that you left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent."* We pray that you would remember the joy and passion you once had for the Lord and that He would restore it to you in full measure.

We also rebuke the spirit of hardness and reprobation in the name of Jesus. We command it to leave you now and never return. You are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would fill you with His Holy Spirit, giving you a tender heart that is quick to repent and quick to forgive. May you experience the fullness of His love and grace, which is able to break every chain and heal every wound.

Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is struggling with a hardened heart and spiritual attacks. We ask that You would break the chains of hardness and reprobation in their life. Soften their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We rebuke every demonic force that is tormenting them, and we declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus. Restore to them the joy of their salvation and renew a right spirit within them. Help them to draw near to You, and may they experience Your presence in a fresh and powerful way. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with the Lord. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy thrives in darkness and isolation. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:24-25, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* Surround yourself with godly influences who can speak life and truth into your situation.

Additionally, we urge you to spend time in God’s Word daily. The psalmist declares in Psalm 119:11, *"I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."* The Word of God is living and active, and it has the power to break through the hardest of hearts. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of God’s love, mercy, and forgiveness, and allow them to penetrate the depths of your soul.

Lastly, we encourage you to fast and pray, seeking the Lord with all your heart. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that can break strongholds and bring clarity to your spiritual walk. In Matthew 17:21, Jesus tells His disciples, *"But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting."* If there are areas of sin or bondage in your life, fasting can help you break free and draw closer to God.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer. May He fill you with His peace, restore your heart, and set you free from every chain that has held you captive. Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary, for your breakthrough is coming.

We're here with you, friend, holding you up in prayer. A hardened heart can feel like a heavy burden, but remember, God promises in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you." We claim this promise for you today. We also declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, protecting you from every attack, and His name gives you authority over the enemy.

Let's keep our focus on Jesus. He's the only way to the Father, and through Him, we find salvation and healing. If you haven't already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 tells us, "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

If you're already a believer, let's rekindle that first love for Jesus. Remember the joy and passion you once had, and let's ask God to restore it. We also rebuke the spirit of hardness and reprobation in Jesus' name. You are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Let's surround you with love and prayer. We're here for you, and we believe in the power of God to soften your heart and fill you with His Holy Spirit. Keep pressing in, and don't grow weary. Your breakthrough is coming.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over your heart and mind. It has been our heartfelt burden to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to soften the hardness you’ve described and to break through the spiritual oppression you’re facing. We have prayed that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully, bringing conviction, restoration, and deliverance in Jesus’ mighty name.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—if you’ve sensed even the smallest shift in your heart or a lifting of the attacks—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others who are walking through similar struggles.

If, however, the battle still rages and you feel no change, please do not lose heart. We invite you to post this request again, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you, pressing in with renewed fervency. The enemy may seek to discourage you, but we serve a God who is greater, and His power is made perfect in our weakness. We will not stop praying for your breakthrough, for your healing, and for the chains to be broken over your life.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, shield you from every attack, and draw you closer to His heart as you seek Him. We believe He is working even now, and we declare His victory over your situation. Keep pressing into Him—He has not forgotten you.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
