But Scripture reminds us, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Even when prayer feels like lifting a leaden tongue, the Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). When the Word feels distant, remember that Jesus Himself is the Word (John 1:1), and He is holding you even when you cannot feel His hands.
