Please soften them Jesus from this predator. Save them to conviction and don’t let them eat, sleep or rest until they get their hearts right with Lord and we always bless your enemies, and help to get some rest soon, so much to get done please help to prioritize Yahweh, and protect us and close ones, amen

We join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord and we hear your heart crying out for justice, mercy, and protection from this predator and for softened hearts.

We understand the pain of dealing with hardened hearts and we know that only God can truly change a heart. We take comfort that He promises, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We cannot soften hearts ourselves, but the Holy Spirit can bring conviction, as Jesus said He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8.

We also hear your prayer that they would not eat or sleep or rest until they get right with the Lord. We understand that comes from a place of deep hurt and longing for justice, and we gently encourage you to entrust that vengeance and conviction to God while we bless our enemies as you so faithfully desire to do. Scripture calls us to, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44, and reminds us, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. So we pray not for their torment, but for godly sorrow that leads to repentance, that they would be unable to find peace in sin until they turn to Christ, and that God’s perfect justice and mercy would prevail. We release them into His hands, trusting that The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1.

We also lift up your exhaustion and your need for rest and wisdom to prioritize all that must be done. We know the Lord sees your weariness and He invites you, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls Matthew 11:28-29. We are encouraged to Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3 and to Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. He will help you order your days and give you peace as you cast your cares on Him.

We pray also for your protection and for those close to you, for we know The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7 and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. If this predator poses a present danger, we encourage you to seek wise counsel and godly protection and to use the authorities God has ordained for protection while you continue to pray.

We pray together now.

Father Yahweh, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace. We ask that You would soften these hardened hearts, remove the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, bring deep conviction of sin and draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus alone, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Let Your Holy Spirit work where we cannot. We ask for Your justice and Your mercy to be done, and we choose to bless our enemies and entrust them to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this dear one and their loved ones, cover them under Your wings, keep them from harm. Grant them sweet rest, for You give sleep to Your beloved Psalm 127:2, and give them clear wisdom to prioritize what You would have them do, ordering their steps. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how weary you are carrying this, wanting hardened hearts to soften and wanting to do the right thing by even blessing those who have caused harm, while also needing protection and rest.

It is a lot to hold at once, longing for conviction and justice, and at the same time longing for peace and sleep so you can face what is in front of you. Wanting both is not a contradiction, it shows you want God to be the one to bring what is needed, in His way.

When there has been predatory harm, it helps not to carry it alone. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor, or safe person in your community, we encourage you to let them walk with you in this, both for wisdom and for practical protection for you and those close to you. And with so much to do, it can help to bring your list before the Lord tonight, choose the two or three things that most need attention tomorrow, and give yourself permission to rest with the rest in His hands.

Father, we bring this hurt and exhaustion to You in Jesus' name. Bring conviction where it is needed and bring repentance in Your mercy. Cover and protect this dear one and those they love, give clear wisdom for next steps, and grant real rest tonight. Help them to prioritize what You would have them do and to know Your nearness as they wait on You. Amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord with a heaviness that many of His people know well, when wickedness presses hard and the heart grows weary with watching and waiting.

It is right to ask that hard hearts may be softened, for repentance is not worked by the will of man alone. Wherever there is real sorrow for sin, wherever there is an honest determination by God's grace to cease from sin, wherever there is a complete change of mind with regard to sin, that repentance has been produced by the Spirit of God and it is as much a gift of His grace as remission itself. We do not then pray for a mere restlessness that torments a man for a night and then lets him return to his sin with greater gusto, as a man may abstain from food for a time only to increase his appetite for the banquet. Such superficial repentance the Lord abhors. We pray rather for that godly sorrow which hates sin as sin because it slew Christ, which turns from it with purpose of heart and flees to Jesus who has borne the wrath of God for sinners and ever lives to plead for them. May the Lord grant to this predator and to all who do evil such a sight of the Cross that they loathe the poison that is in their sweetness and turn to Him for pardon, for in Christ's name both repentance and remission of sins are preached.

You have done well to say we bless our enemies, for the fear of the Lord does not drive us to cursing but to the Mercy Seat. Vengeance belongs to Him, and He will judge righteously. Our calling is to pray for those who wrong us that they may be turned from sinner to saint, and at the same time to seek the refuge which God provides for His people. There is always a Mercy Seat for you to go to. There is always the bosom of Christ for you to fly to. Religion is not a thing for churches and chapels alone, it is for the daily path where you must live and labor, and the Lord can make a refuge for you even in the matter of ordinary providence. Ask Him to set a hedge about you and those you love and to keep you under the shadow of His wing.

You speak also of weariness and of much to be done, and of longing for rest. Hear the gracious invitation which still stands open, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. This is a present rest, not only rest after death, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. If He gives you no rest for your body at this hour, yet to your soul He will. The yoke of Christ is easy and His burden is light, and when we learn of Him we find that He both quiets the long divided heart and teaches us to prioritize what most glorifies the Lord. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Seek first His kingdom, and He will order your steps and help you to lay aside what is less needful.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, for Your name's sake pardon iniquity where it abounds, and for Your name's sake turn hard hearts to flesh. Grant true repentance that hates sin and trusts in the finished work of Christ, that remission may be known. Keep Your people from the hand of the evil one, watch over them and their loved ones, and spread Your protecting care around them. Give rest to the weary soul, teach us to come to Jesus and to find rest there, and grant wisdom to do what You would have us do in its season. We ask this trusting in the almighty pleas of Jesus who ever speaks in favor of His own. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
