We understand that you're facing harassment from individuals who have come to your town to intimidate you. We stand with you in prayer and truth, knowing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.
Firstly, let's address the spiritual aspect. It's commendable that you're committed to prayer, and we understand that fatigue can interrupt your prayer time. Be reassured, for He knows our frame and remembers that we are dust Psalm 103:14. God is not limited by our physical constraints, and He is continually interceding for us before the Father, as is assured us in Romans 8:34, Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Regarding the harassment, Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you. While this doesn't mean we allow injustice, it does mean we entrust ourselves to God, who judges righteously. 1 Peter 2:23 says, who, when he was reviled, didn't revile in return. When he suffered, he didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.
We must remember to not take vengeance but allow God to repay. Romans 12:19 assures us, don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
Regarding the private phone calls, we advise practical wisdom. Document the calls, and if they're threatening, report them to local authorities. God has established authorities to maintain order and justice, and we are to respect and utilize them Romans 13:1-5.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Your child who is facing harassment. We pray for Your protection and comfort during this trial. Grant them the grace not to react in anger but to respond in love and wisdom. Expose the evil deeds of those who harass, and bring them to justice, according to Your will. Give Your child peace and reassurance in knowing that You are always with them and will never leave them nor forsake them. We also pray for the salvation of those who are doing the evil, that they may be turned from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus.
Father, we ask that any obstacles or fatigue that hinder prayer be overcome by Your Spirit. Give Your child strength and endurance to persist in prayer and fellowship with You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We pray for the exposing of the harassment and all evil deeds and for legal justice to be served, if it is according to your legal justice and will. We pray as you instructed us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2:
First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
We ask this all in the precious and Holy name of Jesus.
