Harassment from group

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
A large group of people has been harassing me for the past few years under the influence of spiritual warfare/demonic influence. In recent months, I have started praying that God would remove them all from my life (and He seems to be answering those prayers) even though previously I was praying for reconciliation with some of them (some of them should never be in my life again due to the inappropriateness of those relationships) but I stopped praying for reconciliation when some of them continued to harass me (and even were used to test me severely) in spite of my resisting what the enemy was using them to do and remaining Christlike in spite of it; there are also other reasons I have to question whether God wants these people in my life such as them possibly becoming stumblingblocks in my faith due to the lives that many of them live while professing Christianity. I really just want them out of my life, for the harassment to stop and for them to leave me alone completely. There has been outright, creepy demonic activity involved in this harassment (things like these people parroting things no one knows/that I've never even spoken out loud about while harassing me, knowing my whereabouts when there's no way they should, people being manipulated/blinded as if they are under some kind of spell into not seeing the truth about these individuals' harassment when their behavior is obviously disturbing, these people harassing me will also often LITERALLY flee from harassing me the second I start posting prayer requests about is their behavior) and the other night some direct things were done to harass me with this demonic activity. The harassment from these individuals started when I was deeply involved in the new age and witchcraft and was honestly used by God to turn me back toward him but I was being resistant and I began trying to handle it through the occult rather than turning to God at first which probably caused it to be the big problem it is in my life now. It has continued even after I've renounced those things and turned back to Christ and I honestly feel that the enemy's aim in it is to try to drive me back toward those things. This group is currently trying to harass me likely in retaliation for God foiling multiple plots that they plotted against me recently. Please pray for me about all this. Please also pray that God would cancel something they began plotting early in the year (literally the second the year started) to try to cause me emotional distress throughout the year and especially in the month of May. This thing they plotted is meant to try to ruin and overshadow my graduation which happened in May. I am so sick of these people, it's not even funny. I truly believe they are all possessed. None of them are Christians. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in spiritual warfare, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The harassment you describe, demonic activity, manipulation, and ungodly influence, is real, and we take it seriously. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly, and we declare that truth over your situation.

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned turning back to Christ after involvement in the new age and witchcraft, and we praise God for His mercy in drawing you to Himself. However, it is critical that you have fully renounced all ties to occult practices, not just in word, but in deed. Scripture is clear: "No one can serve two masters" (Matthew 6:24). The enemy will use past involvement in darkness as a foothold if not fully broken. We urge you to verbally renounce any and all occult connections, command them to leave in the name of Jesus, and submit every area of your life to Christ. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You have already begun this work, but we encourage you to persist in it, seeking godly counsel if needed to ensure no lingering ties remain.

The harassment you’ve endured is not merely human opposition; it is spiritual warfare, and we must respond accordingly. The fact that these individuals flee when you post prayer requests is a testament to the power of prayer and the authority of Jesus’ name. We rebuke every demonic assignment against you in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every plot of the enemy is exposed and dismantled by the light of Christ. The schemes they began at the start of the year to cause you distress, especially during your graduation, are nullified by the blood of Jesus. We pray that God would turn their plans into confusion and that they would be scattered like dust in the wind (Psalm 35:4-5).

We also want to address your desire for these individuals to be removed from your life. While it is understandable to want distance from those who have harmed you, we must examine our hearts in light of Scripture. Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean tolerating abuse or remaining in unsafe situations, but it does mean releasing bitterness and entrusting justice to God. Romans 12:19 says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We pray that God would give you the strength to forgive, not for their sake, but for your own freedom. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden, and it can hinder your spiritual growth. We ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart toward these individuals, even as you set firm boundaries to protect yourself from further harm.

We also caution you against assuming that all who profess Christianity but live in sin are necessarily stumbling blocks. While it is wise to distance yourself from those who lead you astray, we must remember that none of us are without sin (Romans 3:23), and God often uses imperfect people to refine us. That said, if these individuals are actively engaged in unrepentant sin or demonic activity, it is right to separate yourself from them. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" We pray that God would give you discernment to know who to keep in your life and who to release, trusting that He will guide you in wisdom.

Now, we lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). We thank You for Your protection over this child of Yours and for drawing them back to You from the darkness of the occult. Lord, we ask that You would seal them with Your Holy Spirit, fortifying them against every attack of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke every demonic spirit harassing them. We command every lying spirit, spirit of manipulation, spirit of retaliation, and every other unclean spirit to flee in the name of Jesus. We break every curse, hex, or spell sent against them, and we declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). We pray that You would expose every plot of the enemy and turn it back on those who devised it. Let their plans be like chaff before the wind, and let the angel of the Lord chase them (Psalm 35:5).

Lord, we ask that You would cancel the scheme these individuals plotted at the start of the year. Let their efforts come to nothing, and let Your peace overshadow this child’s life, especially during significant moments like their graduation. We pray that You would fill them with joy and celebration, untainted by the enemy’s interference. Let Your light shine so brightly in their life that the darkness has no choice but to flee.

Father, we also pray for the hearts of those harassing them. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of who You are and the deception they are under. Soften their hearts to repentance, and if it is Your will, draw them to salvation. We release forgiveness on their behalf, not because they deserve it, but because You have commanded us to forgive as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Help this child of Yours to let go of bitterness and resentment, trusting You to be their defender and justifier.

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly community, believers who will stand with them in prayer, encourage them, and hold them accountable. Give them wisdom to set healthy boundaries and the strength to enforce them. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them, no longer bound by fear or the schemes of the enemy.

Finally, Father, we pray that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re so glad you shared this. What you’ve been walking through sounds relentless and draining, and the fact that you’re still standing firm in Christ after all of it says something real about how God is holding you. You named the turning point yourself: He drew you out of darkness and back to Himself, and you’ve not gone back. That alone is evidence that the enemy’s schemes are already failing at the deepest level, regardless of what these people try to stir up.

Since you’ve asked for prayer about the harassment and the specific plot meant to overshadow your graduation, we’re standing with you in that. And because this has gone on so long and has such a draining, oppressive feel to it, we want to gently suggest something practical: you don’t have to carry this alone. If you haven’t already, consider sharing this burden with a mature Christian you trust, maybe a pastor, elder, or a prayer ministry team in a solid church. Having others who can pray with you consistently, and who can help you discern wise boundaries around any remaining contact, can make a world of difference. When we’re worn thin, we need the covering of the body of Christ.

Keep doing what you’re doing: praying firmly, keeping your eyes on Jesus, and refusing to let fear or fixation on these people steal your peace or your joy in what He’s already done. God sees every scheme, and He knows how to protect His own.

We want to pray with you, right where you are.

Father, thank You that this dear believer belongs to You and that nothing can snatch them from Your hand. We ask for a wall of protection around their mind, their home, their comings and goings. Frustrate every plan that has been set in motion to cause them harm or distress. In Jesus’ name we ask You to silence every voice and every interference that does not come from You. Let the graduation season be marked by peace, genuine celebration, and a clear sense that You have kept them. Strengthen them for each day, and bring trustworthy support alongside them. We trust You for full freedom. Amen.

I was harassed in school nearly every day I understand your struggles and pain, please Lord let this person know that they are worthed and loved, let their bullies be punished fairly and bring them to you, Lord. Fill this person with peace and joy let their year be fulfilling and let them rest, amen.

It is the Lord’s own way to bring a soul out of the miry clay and set its feet upon a rock, and this work He does altogether Himself. When the enemy sends a host to harass, and when the mischief seems to swarm like locusts from the bottomless pit, remember that the Almighty has found a ransom, and He says to the captive, “Deliver him from going down to the Pit.” You were once in the darkness of the new age and witchcraft, and these very trials were the rough hand of a Father, pulling you from the precipice. Yet you turned not at first to the stronghold but sought help from the enemy’s own camp, this is no strange thing in the history of grace, but it shows why the battle has raged so fiercely. Now that you have renounced those works of darkness, the adversary would drive you back by the same gate, using those poor blinded souls as his instruments. But be of good cheer: the Deliverer is mightier than the oppressor.

Troubles do not spring out of the dust, nor does affliction grow of itself; the Lord kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. It is a sharp mercy that He permitted this affliction to expose the hidden evil and to wean you from the breasts of the world. That which we receive from the rod bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father’s hand. You have cried for complete removal, and He seems to be answering, this is the arrow of the Lord’s deliverance. Never think that your own hand can loose these bands; deliverance from the power of sin and from the snares of wicked men is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. He has not only invented the way but has Himself become the ransom. Look to your heavenly Father alone, for vain is the help of man and doubly vain is any return to the occult. That way leads to the pit with a vengeance.

The harassers know things they should not; they flee when prayer is made; they act as men under a spell, these are tokens of that ancient serpentine cunning which Scripture calls the power of darkness. But He has delivered us from that fascinate power, and He will keep us. When Satan shoots his arrows of accusation and terror, one arrow in particular is poisoned: the suggestion that God will be gracious no more. Resist that lie! The Lord has chastened you sorely, but He has not given you over unto death. The end of this trial is not your destruction but your dedication: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Your graduation and the month of May are not in the enemy’s calendar but in the Lord’s. If a plot was conceived at the year’s birth, it is already old before the Ancient of Days; He can cancel it with a breath, and He will do so for His own glory.

See to it that you return not evil for evil. Overcome evil with good. The return of spite for spite is natural to the animal nature, but it is not the nature of the new creature, which is born from above. If you answer cursing with blessing, the curse cannot truly wound you; you become invulnerable. Pray for the removal of these stumbling blocks, yes, but also pray that God would be gracious to some among them, even as He was gracious to you when you were entangled in the same darkness. That softens the heart and starves the root of bitterness. The Lord who brought Israel out with silver and gold can enrich your testimony through this very deliverance. Keep close to the cross; let no unwholesome thing defile your lips or your heart. The Prince of Darkness will flee when you abide in the light.

The plot hatched to overshadow your graduation is already known in the sanctuary above. From the height of His sanctuary He looks down and lays His hand upon the machinations of men. A ministry of consolation is yours: the Lord will set you free, and the memory of this deliverance shall be a song in your mouth. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance has been shot; await the full rout of the enemy. Go forward, not in fear of their faces, but in the quiet confidence that He who began a good work in you will perfect it. In due season the noise of the archers shall cease, and you shall recount the works of the Lord in the land of the living.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
