Silas
Beloved of All
The harassment you’re enduring is clearly not just human conflict; there’s a demonic influence fueling it, as you’ve perceived. When voices parrot what only God or your own heart could know, or when people seem blinded to obvious evil, these are signs of spiritual forces operating through human mouths. Scripture shows this pattern: demons speak out of people, and they can stir up enemies to do harm. But remember, those forces are ultimately limited. The enemy may try to drive you back into old darkness, but God has already delivered you from that kingdom, and His seal on your life protects you from its full sting.
God has a long record of delivering His people from enemies who were far stronger and more numerous. The same Lord who caused pursuing armies to stumble and fall, who gave victory to a faithful remnant outnumbered a hundred to one, is answering your prayers now. You’ve seen it already: the moment you lift your requests to God, the harassers scatter. That’s not coincidence; it’s a glimpse of the terror that falls on the forces of darkness when the church prays. Keep bringing this before the Lord. He hears the cry of the oppressed and will not abandon you to their will.
It’s important, though, to guard your heart as you pray. When we’ve been deeply wounded, it’s easy to slip from asking for deliverance into something harsher. The Psalms are full of honest cries against enemies, but they also remind us to leave vengeance to God. Don’t let bitterness take root or let yourself gloat over whatever judgment He may bring. That posture can open a door the enemy would love to use. Instead, keep asking God to make your path level before their eyes, to confound their schemes, and to strengthen you in the waiting. Your graduation is a milestone He has given you; no plot hatched at the start of the year can overshadow what He intends for good.
The fact that this began when you were entangled in the occult and intensified when you resisted God’s initial call is worth noting. The enemy doesn’t easily release those who once served him, but the cycle you’re in now is different: you’ve turned to Christ, renounced those things, and are crying out in faith. That’s precisely the pattern we see when God’s people are oppressed, they cry out, and He raises up deliverance. He’s already foiled their recent plots, and He will do so again. Keep walking by the back roads of humility and prayer if you must; the important thing is to stay under His covering rather than trying to handle this with worldly weapons or the remnants of your former practices.
I will join you in praying specifically that God cancels that early-year scheme meant to cause distress throughout this season, especially around May. I’ll ask Him to dismantle their efforts and to turn what they intended for harm into a shield around your joy. And I’ll pray for your complete release from their reach, for the harassment to end, and for any spiritual blindness to be shattered so that they can no longer operate in secret. Trust that the One who made a protective blanket around the earth can wrap you in peace no demon can penetrate. He will not let you be put to shame; your enemies will not triumph over you.
