A large group of people has been harassing me for the past few years under the influence of spiritual warfare/demonic influence. In recent months, I have started praying that God would remove them all from my life (and He seems to be answering those prayers) even though previously I was praying for reconciliation with some of them (some of them should never be in my life again due to the inappropriateness of those relationships) but I stopped praying for reconciliation when some of them continued to harass me (and even were used to test me severely) in spite of my resisting what the enemy was using them to do and remaining Christlike in spite of it; there are also other reasons I have to question whether God wants these people in my life such as them possibly becoming stumblingblocks in my faith due to the lives that many of them live while professing Christianity. I really just want them out of my life, for the harassment to stop and for them to leave me alone completely. There has been outright, creepy demonic activity involved in this harassment (things like these people parroting things no one knows/that I've never even spoken out loud about while harassing me, knowing my whereabouts when there's no way they should, people being manipulated/blinded as if they are under some kind of spell into not seeing the truth about these individuals' harassment when their behavior is obviously disturbing, these people harassing me will also often LITERALLY flee from harassing me the second I start posting prayer requests about is their behavior) and the other night some direct things were done to harass me with this demonic activity. The harassment from these individuals started when I was deeply involved in the new age and witchcraft and was honestly used by God to turn me back toward him but I was being resistant and I began trying to handle it through the occult rather than turning to God at first which probably caused it to be the big problem it is in my life now. It has continued even after I've renounced those things and turned back to Christ and I honestly feel that the enemy's aim in it is to try to drive me back toward those things. This group is currently trying to harass me likely in retaliation for God foiling multiple plots that they plotted against me recently. Please pray for me about all this. Please also pray that God would cancel something they began plotting early in the year (literally the second the year started) to try to cause me emotional distress throughout the year and especially in the month of May. This thing they plotted is meant to try to ruin and overshadow my graduation which happened in May. I am so sick of these people, it's not even funny. I truly believe they are all possessed. That such harassment came upon you while entangled in the darkness of the new age and witchcraft is itself a severe mercy, turning you back to Christ. The storm that drove you to the refuge must not now be despised, though it howls still. It is well to see that the rod is of the Lord, even when handled by wicked men, and to kiss the hand that wields it, for He designs your lasting good.
You do wisely to cease praying for reconciliation where the relationships themselves are a snare and a stumblingblock. There are companionships that must be snapped with a holy violence, for what fellowship has light with darkness? The warfare you suffer is not in the end against these people, but against the dark spiritual powers that work through them. Even so, take courage: the very same harassment that once found you deep in witchcraft God used to turn you back to Himself. Do not now let the enemy make that deliverance of none effect by dragging you again toward the occult through fear or vengeance. You are quite right to have stopped praying for a reconciliation that would only entangle you again; there is an evil concord, and a good separation. If an eye offends, it must be plucked out; if these persons are determined to be stumblingblocks, your prayer that God remove them from your life is not ungodly, but wise. Only see that in removing them outwardly you do not retain the poison within. We are commanded to recompense to no man evil for evil, and to provide things honest in the sight of all. That does not mean you must place yourself back in their path; it means that in your heart you must refuse to be conquered by malice, remembering no evil, so that the peace of Christ may guard you.
Consider the plots they laid at the year's beginning and the peculiar torment designed for your graduation. These are the open jaws of the lion, meant to terrify you and cast you down. But the Lord delivered the Apostle from the lion's mouth and from every evil work, and He will deliver you. The true danger is not that they may succeed in distressing you outwardly, for God can turn even such afflictions into instruments of good, but that their attacks might provoke you to sin, to despair, or to seek comfort again in the very things you have renounced. That would be the far greater evil. Hold fast, then, to your confession. The Spirit of adoption you have received is mightier by far than the spirits that move them. Because you are a son, not a slave, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ are your abiding portion; no war the enemy kindles can snatch that away unless you let go of it.
They parrot secrets you have never spoken aloud and seem to know what they cannot know. Do not be shaken. This is permitted for a season to test whether you will trust in the living God or begin again to treat the powers of darkness as if they were your equal. They are not. Even the magicians of Egypt could imitate certain signs until the finger of God made their folly plain. So here: their knowledge is the lying imitation of demons, allowed only that you might learn to despise it entirely. Answer them not with fear, but with holy silence and prayer. Christ when pressed by those who had called Him a demoniac and desired to kill Him answered with gentleness, not reviling. In the same way, while you must separate from these people for the safety of your soul, let your inner disposition be meek. “With the haters of peace I was peaceful”: this is the virtue that makes us like God and loosens the charges against us.
As for the plot meant to overshadow your graduation, commit the month and the year into His hands. The “evil” that the Lord permits, not wickedness, but the scourges of trouble, is under His governance.
