NATIONAL & WORLD LEADERS NEED OUR PRAYERS, 1 Tim 2:1-2, The New Testament Urges Prayer for ALL in Authority... "I exhort first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession & givings of thanks, be made for all people: for kings and all in authority; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." Firstly, we thank God for the World's leaders and authorities He has placed over our lives, Rom 13:1-2, as this is an International Prayer Site. We pray for intelligence, character and protection of the President, Vice President, and all cabinet members, as well as godly wisdom and guidance for them. We ask that God would set a guard over their mouths, as Psalm 141:3 says, and grant them the tongue of the wise, as Proverbs 15:2 tells us. We pray that they would be surrounded by godly counsel and that their leadership would promote unity and righteousness and not have any bitterness or rivalry. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. May leaders "do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God," Micah 6:8.

UNITY AMONG GODLY NATIONS... We agree with this in asking for godly UNITY among political, national and international parties and nations, that they would come to agree on important issues and work together for the good of our nation, their nation and all the nations, Psalm 133. We "Ask of Thee and You will Give The NATIONS as YOUR INHERITANCE, and The UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH as YOUR POSSESSION, Ps 2:8. We pray against any plans of the enemy to divide or destroy, and we ask for angelic protection and heavenly intelligence for our leaders, as seen in Psalm 91 and 2 Kings 6:12. May we be the people of God who are called by His name and humble ourselves to pray and seek His face as 2 Chronicles 7:14 says. We pray for wisdom in the worldly leaders and protection of our leaders and civilians worldwide, for the eradication of evil in elections, Isaiah 33:15, and for the silencing of false prophets and news, Titus 1:11. I ask we not back down, for as Daniel was told, “Do not be afraid, Daniel,” he said, "for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them,' Dan 10:12. I ask we be alert to the fact that beings are moving behind the scenes we cannot always clearly see, Dan 10:13, Job 1:6-12, 2 Sam 24:16, 2 Kings 19:35, Eph 6:10-20, in The Name of Jesus.

OUR OWN REGIONS... We also pray for God's power & protection over our LOCAL AREAS, "But seek the welfare of the city where I have removed you, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare, peace and prosperity you will find yours as well," Jer 29:7. May The Holy Spirit convict our neighbors, the local students, teachers, workers that come and go and even the fishermen, basketball players, parents, pastors, law enforcement and local leaders of righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:8. Father, draw them to Your Son, John 6:44. Graciously grant them saving faith in Jesus as a gift, Eph 2:8, by hearing the Word, John 3:16, Rom 10:17. Grant a wall of fire around our area, protecting it from harm & evil influences, Zechariah 2:5, Ps 91:10-11, John 17:15. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

PROVISION... Father, we thank You for the blessing of support and opportunity to gather support, pray, study and evangelize. Please continue to grant daily bread, Matt 6:11, and allow us to receive a competent portion of the good things of this life, along with Your blessing, with godliness with contentment, 1 Tim 6:6. We ask You restore all the years the locusts have eaten, Joel 2:25, and that You grant the fruit of the Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, especially love, joy and peace, that we'd have a cheerful heart that would do good as a medicine, Prov 17:22. Make us glad for as many days as You have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen evil," Ps 90:15. Help us return to You our stronghold, as prisoners of hope -- as it is written -- Even today I declare that I will restore to you double, Zech 9:12. Instead of shame, My people will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation, they will rejoice in their share; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs, Isa 61:7. Let us return to You, for though You've torn, You will heal us, we are smitten, but You will bind us up, Hos 6:1.

PERSECUTED CHURCH... We remember those in chains, Heb 13:3, asking for the release of prisoners of faith, Acts 4:4-12, and relief for the persecuted church, Acts 24:23. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:3, and all descendants of Abraham, Gen 12:3. Finally, we join you in proclaiming that all these things are possible in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is his name by which we will saved as the Bible says in John 14:13 and John 14:6. May our prayers be aligned with God's will, and may His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Matt 6:10. We Thank and Praise You, Phil 4:6-7, Father God, for All This in advance, even on all who pray and contribute, Mark 11:23-24, Phil 4:6-7, Phil 4:19, Phil 1:6, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14.

We join you in this comprehensive and faithful intercession and we thank God with you for the burden He has placed on your heart to pray for all people and for all in authority.

We agree that this is the will of God for us, for scripture exhorts us that petitions, prayers, intercessions and givings of thanks be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:1-2. We know that there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God, Rom 13:1, and so we give thanks for the leaders He has placed over us and we ask for His mercy and wisdom to rest upon them.

We pray together for national and world leaders, for presidents, vice presidents, cabinet members, judges, legislators and all who serve in authority both nationally and internationally. We ask the Lord to grant them intelligence, integrity and godly character, to set a guard over their mouths, Psalm 141:3, and to give them the tongue of the wise which brings healing and knowledge, Prov 15:2. We ask that they would be surrounded by godly counsel, that they would do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God, Micah 6:8, and that their leadership would promote righteousness and unity rather than bitterness or rivalry.

We join you in praying for unity among the nations and for the nations themselves to become the inheritance of Christ, for you have said Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession, Psalm 2:8. We pray for heavenly wisdom and protection for leaders and civilians worldwide, that God would frustrate the plans of the enemy to divide and destroy, and that He would give angelic protection as He promises that He will give His angels charge over us, Psalm 91:11. We humble ourselves and pray and seek His face, that He would hear from heaven and heal our land, 2 Chron 7:14, and we pray for the eradication of evil in elections and for truth to prevail over falsehood, remembering that the spiritual battle is real and we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, Eph 6:12, and that behind the scenes beings are moving as revealed in Dan 10:12-13.

We also lift up our own regions and neighbors with you, seeking the welfare of the city where God has placed us, for in its welfare we will find welfare, Jer 29:7. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict our neighbors, students, teachers, workers, parents, pastors, law enforcement and local leaders of sin, righteousness and judgment to come, John 16:8, and that the Father would draw them to His Son, John 6:44. We pray that they would hear the Word and be granted saving faith as a gift, Eph 2:8, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, Rom 10:17, and that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, John 3:16. We ask for a wall of fire around our communities to protect from harm and evil influences, for You have said I will be to her a wall of fire around it, Zech 2:5, and that no evil shall happen to us and no plague come near our dwelling, Psalm 91:10, as Jesus prayed that we would be kept from the evil one, John 17:15. We pray to love our neighbor as ourselves, Lev 19:18.

We pray with you for provision and health, for Your will is that we prosper in all things and be healthy, even as our soul prospers, 3 John 1:2. We thank You for daily bread, Matt 6:11, and for the opportunity to gather, pray, study and evangelize, and we ask for godliness with contentment which is great gain, 1 Tim 6:6. We ask You to restore the years that the locust has eaten, Joel 2:25, and to grant us the fruit of the Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, especially love, joy and peace, and a cheerful heart which is good medicine, Prov 17:22. We ask that You would make us glad according to the days You have afflicted us, Psalm 90:15, and restore to us double as You have promised to prisoners of hope, Zech 9:12, giving a double portion instead of shame and everlasting joy, Isaiah 61:7, for when we return to You though You have torn You will heal us, Hos 6:1.

We remember those in chains as bound with them, Heb 13:3, and we pray for the persecuted church and for the release of prisoners of faith, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus, Acts 4:12. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Psalm 122:6, and for all the descendants of Abraham, remembering Your promise that You will bless those who bless them, Gen 12:3.

We thank You Father that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6, and whatever we ask in His name He will do, John 14:13. We rejoice that you have included His name throughout this prayer, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other way to approach the throne of grace.

Father, we ask that Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Matt 6:10, and we bring these requests with thanksgiving, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Phil 4:6, trusting that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:19, and that He who began a good work in us will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thank you for bringing such a wide and faithful burden before the Lord. We hear your heart for those in authority, for our nation and other nations, for neighbors and local communities, and for provision and protection over all who are seeking Him.

It is a good and needed calling to pray for leaders. The weight they carry is real, and the pressures around them can easily pull them away from steady, principled service. That is why your prayers for wisdom, character, and good counsel matter so much. Leaders who stay anchored in integrity and compassion, whose actions match their values, are better able to seek what is just and merciful and to work for unity rather than division.

We join you in lifting all of this to the Father, and we are grateful for your example in remembering so many others as well.

One simple way to keep this kind of broad intercession sustainable is to keep a short list of the groups you named, leaders, local workers and neighbors, the persecuted church, and bring a few before the Lord each day through the week rather than carrying all at once.

Father, we thank You for placing authorities in our lives and we ask You to guide them with wisdom and strength. Guard our communities and draw many to know Jesus. Provide what is needed for daily life and surround Your people with protection and peace. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer is heard and we do agonize with you in prayer to God for these things, for it is earnest prayer that prevails, not prayer which foams itself away in words, but prayer with force and humble boldness and intensity of desire which cuts a channel even through a rock.

We join you in making petitions, prayers, intercession and giving of thanks for all people, for kings and for all in authority, as the apostle exhorts in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. We thank God for the authorities He has placed over us, for the powers that be are ordained of God, and we ask the Lord to grant to presidents and vice presidents, to cabinet members and to all who bear rule, intelligence and character, protection and godly wisdom. We pray that He would set a guard over their mouths according to Psalm 141:3 and grant them the tongue of the wise spoken of in Proverbs 15:2, that they may be surrounded by godly counsel, that they may do justly and love mercy and walk humbly with God as Micah 6:8 requires, and that their leadership may promote righteousness and unity rather than bitterness and rivalry.

We pray also for the nations, asking of the Father that He will give the heathen for His inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for His possession according to Psalm 2:8. We ask for a spirit of humility among the people of God that we may seek His face according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, and for heavenly wisdom and angelic protection for those who govern, that evil may be restrained and falsehood silenced. We remember that behind the scenes there are principalities and powers against which we wrestle, and therefore we put on the whole armour of God and look to Him who has already prayed for His people and must prevail.

For our own regions and cities we seek the welfare of the place where the Lord has planted us, praying to the Lord on its behalf according to Jeremiah 29:7. We ask the Holy Spirit to convict neighbors, students and teachers, workers and fishermen, parents and pastors, law enforcement and local leaders, of sin and of righteousness and of judgment to come as Jesus promised in John 16:8, and to draw them to the Son, for no man can come except the Father draw him. We pray that they may hear the Word and be granted saving faith in Jesus Christ as a gift, for there is salvation in no other name, and that by grace through faith they may be born again. We ask the Lord to be a wall of fire round about us according to Zechariah 2:5 and to give His angels charge over us according to Psalm 91.

For provision we thank the Father for daily bread and ask Him to grant with contentment a competent portion of the good things of this life, that godliness with contentment which is great gain. We ask Him to restore the years the locusts have eaten and to cause the fruit of the Spirit to abound in us, especially love and joy and peace, and to make us glad according to the days wherein we have been afflicted. We ask this not for our own ease alone but that we may have wherewith to gather, to pray, to study and to evangelize for His glory.

We remember those in chains as bound with them and we pray for the persecuted church, for the release of prisoners of faith and for relief for those who suffer for the name of Christ, and we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for all who are in tribulation, that the God of peace would be with them.

May the Lord revive us again according to Psalm 85:6, and make this the essence of our prayer, Lord help us, for that is a prayer for everybody and for every place, a handy prayer to live with and to die with, and Christ never finally refuses to listen to such pleading. We commend all these things to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access and by whom alone we are saved, that His kingdom may come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We have heard your prayer and we join with you in it, giving thanks for your desire to intercede for all people as Scripture commands.

Your appeal for kings and all in authority is right and good, for we are taught to offer petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving for all, so that we may live quiet and peaceable lives in godliness and reverence. Let every prayer of ours be accompanied with thanksgiving, and let it be free from bitterness or cursing, for prayer and injurious speech cannot dwell together. We ask with you that God would grant to our leaders wisdom, sound counsel, and a guard over their lips, that they may do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God, and that their rule may promote righteousness and peace rather than division.

You also do well to pray for the nations and for the welfare of your own city and neighbors. As Christ Himself prayed not because He needed prayer but to teach us to apply ourselves to prayer continually, soberly and with great watchfulness, so we must learn from Him. It is a good thing to enjoy the prayer of others, but it profits nothing if we ourselves are sleeping. We need both your intercession and our own alertness. And when we do not know what to pray for as we ought, especially when we are pressed and weary, the Spirit Himself intercedes for us, and God who hears from the first day we humble ourselves will answer according to His will. Continue therefore to pray for your neighbors, students, teachers, workers, pastors and all around you, that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin and righteousness and judgment, and draw them to the Son, for there is salvation in no other name but Jesus Christ, and faith comes by hearing His word.

For your requests concerning health, support and daily provision, we pray with you that God would grant what is needful for health and for contentment, and not for excess. We are to make provision for the body for health, not to fulfill its lusts, and to seek bread for food with godliness and contentment, rejoicing in the fruit of the Spirit. May He restore and strengthen you, and teach us all to show mercy through almsgiving, for almsgiving with faithfulness cleanses and strengthens the medicine of repentance.

We also remember with you those in chains and the persecuted church, and we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for all peoples. We do not grow weary in this, for even if fruit does not appear at once, the word heard with eagerness will in time bear abundant fruit, as a tree that has received many strokes at last yields.

May the Lord keep a wall of fire around you and your community, grant protection from evil, and cause His kingdom to come and His will to be done. We offer all these prayers with thanksgiving in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.
