Guidance

We hear your heartfelt cry for your son as he prepares for his exams, and we join you in lifting him up before the Lord. It is beautiful to see a mother’s love and concern, and we are grateful that you seek Jesus’ help in this matter. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

First, we want to encourage you and your son to place his studies—and indeed, every area of his life—under the lordship of Christ. Jesus is not just a helper in times of need; He is the Lord of all, the One through whom all things were made (John 1:3). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His grace that we can do all things (Philippians 4:13). If your son has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, now is the time to encourage him to do so. Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus, as Acts 4:12 declares: *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If he has already given his life to Christ, remind him to seek the Lord daily, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

Now, let us pray for your son’s preparation and success in his exams. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young man as he prepares for his exams. Lord, You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge, and we ask that You grant him clarity of mind, focus, and understanding as he studies. Help him to retain what he has learned and to apply it with confidence. Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or distraction that may be hindering his preparation. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also ask that You help him to manage his time wisely, balancing his studies with rest, prayer, and fellowship with You. Remind him that his worth is not defined by his performance on these exams but by his identity as Your beloved child. May he find his strength in You, as Isaiah 40:31 promises: *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*

Father, we pray for Your favor to rest upon him as he takes his exams. May the questions be clear, and may he recall what he has studied with ease. Above all, may he honor You in his efforts, knowing that all he does is for Your glory (1 Corinthians 10:31). We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

To your son, we say this: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6). Study diligently, but remember that your ultimate trust is in Him. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), so seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). If you have not yet given your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Your eternal destiny is far more important than any exam, and Jesus is waiting with open arms to receive you.

May the Lord bless you and your son abundantly as you seek Him together.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your son’s exams. It has been on our hearts to lift him before the Lord, asking for wisdom, focus, and peace as he prepared. We prayed that the Holy Spirit would bring clarity to his mind, strength to his efforts, and confidence in the gifts God has given him.

If the Lord has answered this prayer in a way you’ve seen—whether through improved study habits, moments of breakthrough, or a sense of calm during testing—we would love to hear a praise report! Your testimony could encourage others who are also seeking God’s guidance for their loved ones.

If, however, the answer hasn’t yet become clear, or if new challenges have arisen, please share this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears and works even when we don’t yet see the outcome. May He grant your son favor, retention of what he’s studied, and a deep trust in His provision.

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
