We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace, who cares deeply for every part of your being—body, soul, and spirit. Your request touches on both physical struggles and spiritual battles, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that our God is mighty to heal, restore, and deliver.
First, we want to encourage you that your body is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and He is attentive to even the smallest details of your health. Sleep is a gift from the Lord, a time of restoration, and when it is disrupted, it can deeply affect your well-being. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 121:3-4, *"He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."* Just as God neither slumbers nor sleeps, He watches over you even in the night seasons. We pray that He would open your airways, remove any obstruction or affliction causing you to struggle for breath, and grant you deep, restful sleep. May you wake refreshed, renewed, and strengthened by His grace, as it is written in Psalm 3:5, *"I laid myself down and slept. I awoke; for Yahweh sustains me."*
We also take note of your cry for healing in your mind—freedom from the lies of the devil, his attacks, and temptations. This is a battle many believers face, but we are not left defenseless. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not powerless—you have been given authority in the name of Jesus to resist the devil, and when you do, he *must* flee (James 4:7). Clothe yourself daily in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. His truth is your weapon against every lie.
We also want to gently remind you that while your request is heartfelt, it is essential to approach the throne of God in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not already placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater security than knowing you are His, and He is yours.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who seeks Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who breathes life into our lungs and who holds our every breath in Your hands. We ask that You would open the airways of Your beloved, removing any blockage, affliction, or infirmity that hinders restful sleep. By Your power, let every breath come easily, and grant deep, uninterrupted sleep that restores body and mind. May waking hours be filled with Your strength, not exhaustion, and may each day begin with the joy of knowing You are their sustainer.
Lord, we also stand against the schemes of the enemy in this precious life. Satan has no authority here—his lies have no place in the mind of one who belongs to You. We bind every deceitful whisper, every accusation, and every temptation in the name of Jesus. Fill this heart and mind with Your truth, Lord. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Renew their mind daily by the washing of the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26), and let them walk in the freedom Christ purchased on the cross.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, that You are their shield and their exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them rise up in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. May Your will be done in this life, and may Your name be glorified through their healing and deliverance. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you ever feel overwhelmed, remember that you can cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We are praying with you and for you—you are not alone in this. God bless you abundantly.
