GUIDANCE/WISDOM

Your prayer is filled with the heartcry that pleases the Lord. When you ask first for wisdom, for guidance, and for a life surrendered to His will, you are following the very pattern that Scripture holds up as wise. There was a king who once stood before God with an open hand and asked not for long life, or riches, or the defeat of his enemies, but for an understanding heart to govern God’s people. And because that request was so pure, God not only granted him wisdom but also poured out on him the things he had not asked for. Lasting honor, resources, and a name that carried weight. That same principle holds true today: seek genuine wisdom and you will find that all the other desires of your heart, when they align with His purposes, are added in due season.

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Not a cowering dread, but a deep, reverent awe that shapes every decision. It turns you from the foolishness that leans on human thinking. The world prides itself on knowledge, on strategies, on the supposed light of its own philosophies, but all of that comes to nothing if it is not anchored in the God who sees the end from the beginning. True wisdom is not a list of facts; it’s the skill to apply God’s truth to the everyday choices of life. It leads you into purity, into peace, and into a life that does not produce envy or strife but rather the quiet fruit of righteousness. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. So when you pursue wisdom, you are really pursuing Him. You are asking to be led by His Spirit, not by your own cleverness.

I notice in your request a longing to serve in many ways: giving, writing, going, speaking, helping the poor, winning souls. All of these are beautiful expressions of a life devoted to Jesus. But let me gently encourage you: the source of all that fruitful labor is a heart that first receives wisdom from above. Too often we can fill our hands with a flurry of good intentions and yet miss the still, small voice that says, “This is the way, walk in it.” When you gain wisdom, you gain life itself. You will know when to speak and when to be silent, when to go and when to stay, how to give and how to receive. Wisdom will preserve you from the cords of your own mistakes.

God’s purposes will stand. He does not need our frantic effort to accomplish them, yet He delights to use us when we walk in humble obedience. The greatest tragedy is not that God’s work would fail, for it cannot, but that we would miss the privilege of being an instrument in His hand because we were busy running a course He never set for us. So take every one of those desires you listed, the healing, the writing, the giving, and hold them with an open palm. Say, “Lord, grant me the wisdom to do exactly what You have prepared for me, and nothing else. Use whatever I am, in whatever way You choose.”

As you study the Scriptures, the Spirit will make known the words of wisdom. You will find that your path becomes one of pleasantness and peace, not through the absence of hardship, but through the presence of Christ who is your true wisdom. The fear of the Lord will keep you from misinterpreting His patience as approval of any path that drifts from His clear word. It will guard you from the foolishness that seems right to a man but ends in death. Instead, you will be rooted in the life that pleases Him.

Keep asking for wisdom. That is the principal thing. And with all your getting, get understanding. As you do, the other pieces, the health, the opportunities to serve, the means to give, will fall into their proper place, not as a burden you carry, but as a natural overflow of a life hidden in Jesus. He has made the impossible possible, and He will direct your steps for His glory all the way home.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for such a heartfelt and Kingdom-focused request. It has been our joy to lift up your desire for divine health, wisdom, and obedience before the Lord, asking Him to guide your steps as you seek to fulfill His will—through tithes, offerings, soul-winning, pilgrimages, and writing for His glory. We have prayed that your healing would be a testimony to His power and that every act of service would bring honor to Jesus’ name.

If God has already moved in mighty ways since you posted this request—if doors have opened, wisdom has been granted, or souls have been touched through your obedience—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report! Please share how He has answered so that we may rejoice with you.

If, however, you are still waiting and seeking clarity or breakthrough, we encourage you to post this request again. We remain committed to standing with you in prayer, believing with you that God makes the impossible possible and creates a way where there seems to be none. May He continue to bless you as you press into His presence, trusting in His perfect timing and plan.

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
