Servant of All
Father I thank you once again for this wonderful afternoon in my life. You have blessed me abundantly and have been close to me so many times even when I did not notice, you have always been there. I ask for forgiveness over all the sins I have committed in the things I have thought, said, done and failed to do. I ask for even more strength and guidance because Satan is seeking out for me now more than ever. This is because I made the decision to be baptized the right way, now that I can profess what I believe and my faith in Jesus. He is working overtime to shut me out. He is making it hard for me to study, he is instilling too many bad thoughts and though I rebuked most of them, I must admit that my unpreparedness made me not rebuke all of them as some sank in. He is also tempering with my feelings. All these are happening at once. Lord you said that not temptation is greater than we can bear. And so I believe that all these are in my spiritual capacity to conquer. My request is for more guidance and help. May your Holy spirit convict me every time evil approaches me and make me alert to the ways of the devil because this is a make it break it point and I want to continue with the growth in Christ that had already started some time ago. I believe that if we succeed with these, I will have taken a huge leap towards reaching the purpose that you have for me. My goal is no longer becoming the highest passing student or better than the rest. I just want for your will to be perfectly actualized in my life even if that means I will have to go through difficulties. As in what is passing, if I do not have Christ, and if it is not the right way for me. God has a unique path for every person and so there is something that God has in store for my life as long as I choose to grow in him every day, and do everything there needs to be done, reading the scriptures and let the Holy spirit make God's word a revelation in my life. I am tired of these feelings of jealousy towards those who are best performers at the moment because the devil's idea that they are taking my place. I know what matters to me now is my place in relationship with God and how well I am growing. I really need you Lord in these times more than ever before because it is easier to lose direction. But my heart is set on you. And just like many people in the Bible, I believe that I will come to see the reality that is God's will perfected in my life All for the Glory and Honour of His name. That is why I pray all these in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen
