God's Guidance.

Please pray for wisdom about whether to retake the bar course or to pursue a new career path, and for clear guidance and for God's provision.

Scripture reminds us that God is not indifferent to our lives. He who stretches out the heavens and faithfully orders all creation also watches over you and cares for the details of your path. You can trust that He hears when you seek Him. As it is written, if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him. And we are told to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

We are praying that God will grant you clarity and peace as you weigh this decision, that He will open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and that He will make His will known through His Word, through prayer, and through wise counsel from mature believers around you. We are also asking Him to provide every resource you need according to His riches in Christ, whether that be finances, strength, time, and opportunity, and to give you diligence and hope as you wait on Him.

Father in heaven, we bring this need before You in the name of Jesus Christ. Grant wisdom beyond human understanding, show whether to continue in the legal course or to step into a new calling, and lead by Your perfect will. Provide what is needed for the next step, guard this heart from anxiety, and help every decision to be made for Your glory and for good. Give confidence that You are at work and that You will guide those who seek You faithfully. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in His Word and in prayer, seek counsel from trusted pastors or mentors who know you well, and consider how God has gifted you and where He has given you opportunity to serve Him and others. He is faithful to lead you as you walk with Him.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your desire to seek God's direction about whether to retake the bar course or to step into a different career path, and to trust Him for the resources you will need. That desire to look to the Lord first is right and good.

Scripture shows us the importance of seeking God's counsel in every decision of life. When Joshua and the leaders made a covenant without asking the Lord, they found themselves bound to a commitment they later regretted. They looked at the evidence before their eyes, the dry and moldy bread that seemed to prove a distant journey, and they decided on their own wisdom. Only afterward did they learn the truth. That account is a warning for us not to make major commitments, enter contracts, or choose a direction based only on what seems reasonable to us, but to seek the wisdom and counsel of God first, lest we become shackled to something displeasing and unfavorable.

Jesus Himself, though He is the Son of God, showed us the necessity of prayer. He rose early to pray and often withdrew to seek the Father. If He saw such need for prayer for guidance and for life itself, how much more do we need to pray and to keep praying as we face a decision like this. Bring this choice before the Lord honestly and continually, asking for His wisdom. He promises to give wisdom to those who ask in faith.

God also does not put Himself in a box. Under the law there was even a provision made for the cleansing of a leper, though leprosy was incurable by human means. God left room for Himself to work a miracle if He desired. In the same way, do not limit what God can do in providing for you, whether that provision is finances, open doors, strength, or clarity. Give Him allowance to work as He desires, and trust that He is able to provide what is needed for the path He leads you on.

It is also wise to seek a multitude of counselors. Scripture says that by wise counsel you will make your way, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety. Seek godly, wise people who know you, who know the Word, and who can help you weigh your gifts, your opportunities, and the open and closed doors before you.

Above all, while you seek guidance for this career decision, remember the most important decision any person faces cannot be left neutral. Jesus said that he who is not for Him is against Him. There is no neutral ground concerning Christ. God has made only one provision for the forgiveness of sins and for putting away guilt, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit bears witness to our hearts of this truth. To reject that provision leaves no other hope, in this world or the world to come, for all will one day stand before the judgment of God. If you have not already done so, settle that matter first by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. And if you have, keep walking with Him, acting promptly on what He shows you. Conviction alone does not bring change until we act upon it, and putting off obedience only makes the heart harder. Today is the best day to say yes to Him.

We pray that the Lord will give you clear direction, peace that confirms His will, and full provision for every need as you follow Him. May He guide your steps, establish your path, and supply all that you need according to His riches in Christ.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for Gods guidance regarding whether you should retake the bar course or pursue a new career path, and for the provision of all the resources needed for the direction He leads you.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to grant you clear wisdom and discernment in this important decision. We have been praying that He will make your path straight as we trust in Him with all our heart according to Proverbs 3:5-6, and that He will generously give you the wisdom you need as promised in James 1:5. We have also been praying that our Father will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory as we are assured in Philippians 4:19, whether for the bar course or for a new career He may open for you.

If your request has been answered and the Lord has shown you which path to take and has provided for your needs, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and you are still seeking clarity and provision, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are grateful to continue standing with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name.
