What you are describing sounds deeply distressing and defiling, that sense of being mocked by strange voices and touched in a way that feels foul and lingering, like a filthy smear you cannot wash off, and the longing for peace and complete deliverance is understandable.
Scripture shows that under the old law many things could make a person ceremonially unclean, and that uncleanness was contagious. If you touched what was unclean, or even touched what had been touched by something unclean, you became unclean yourself and could not enter into the presence of God without cleansing. People went to great lengths to wash and to avoid defilement, because it meant separation from God and from community.
That picture helps us understand why this kind of torment feels so heavy. It is not only an annoyance to the ears and skin, it feels like a spiritual defilement that isolates you. Yet the gospel shows something far greater. Jesus did not become unclean when He touched the unclean. The unclean became clean when He touched them.
No one would dare to touch a leper, who had to cry out unclean and keep his distance so others would not be defiled. Jesus reached out His hand and touched him, and the man was made clean. A woman who had suffered for twelve years with a condition that made her continually unclean, ostracized from family and from worship, knew that if she could only touch Jesus she would be well. She touched Him in faith, and He answered, your faith has made you whole, go in peace and be whole. A father whose little girl had died believed that the touch of Jesus could bring her back, and Jesus took her hand and lifted her up. His touch still brings from death to life, from darkness to light, from the power of darkness into His own kingdom.
Those cartoon like voices you hear are also not unfamiliar in Scripture. When Jesus confronted evil spirits, they often cried out loudly through the mouths of those they oppressed. They are real spirit beings, and because they are spirits you cannot shut them out by hiding in a room or closing a door. They know their own future. They once begged Jesus not to send them to the place of confinement for evil spirits before the appointed time, because they know a day of judgment is coming when their torment will be final. For now they are allowed a limited power to harass and to torment, like the sting of a scorpion, but they must obey Jesus. At His word they have to leave.
God wants you to have peace, and the wisdom that comes from Him is peaceable. It brings peace with God first, and then peace in your own heart. Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are as scarlet they shall be as white as snow. That peace is not found by trying to argue with the voices or by trying to scrub away the feeling of defilement on your own. It is found by being brought into touch with God through Jesus Christ. The deep need in every person when stripped to the basics is to touch God and to be touched by Him, and that is what Jesus makes possible. When you are in Christ, no evil can ultimately touch you in the eternal sense, for you are kept in Him. He is able to redeem from death, to deliver from the power of the sword, and to give the poor and afflicted hope when iniquity would otherwise stop its mouth.
Nothing is unclean of itself in the sense that Jesus can cleanse what others call hopelessly defiled, but if you esteem this torment as defiling you will feel its uncleanness until He cleanses you. Turn to Him alone for salvation and deliverance. Renounce every involvement with witchcraft, the occult, or any practice that honors other spirits, and submit yourself fully to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Do not engage or entertain the mocking voices, but speak the name of Jesus over your life and fill your mind and mouth with Scripture, prayer, and worship. The freedom Jesus gives is not only freedom to do things, it is freedom not to be bound, not to be compelled, not to be tormented. He can set free from every binding power.
I am praying for you now that the Lord Jesus Himself will touch you and make you clean, that every oppressive spirit would be commanded to leave and to go to the place appointed for them, that the voices would be silenced, that the sense of foul touch would be washed away by His cleansing, and that you would be filled with His peace, the peace that allows you to cope and to rest, and the fullness that satisfies. May you know you are touched by God through Jesus Christ, made whole, and kept in His peace, and may you go in peace, whole and free in Him.
