We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet filled with the assurance that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your plea for deliverance from the relentless attacks of the enemy resonates deeply with us, for we know that our adversary prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we stand firm in the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we want to affirm your gratitude and love for the Lord Jesus Christ. It is beautiful to see your heart turned toward Him, acknowledging His sovereignty and power. We rejoice with you in the safe return of your loved one and their well-being. Let us hold fast to the promise that the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke the evil one in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We command every spirit of torment, confusion, and oppression to flee right now, for it is written, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers you, and no evil shall touch you or your household.
We also lift up your request for forgiveness of sins. It is written, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to continue walking in the light, as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin. Let us strive to live in a manner worthy of the calling with which we have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:1-2).
Regarding the spiritual attacks you are facing, especially as you seek to pray for others, we want to remind you of the armor of God. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, taking up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Pray in the Spirit at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people (Ephesians 6:18).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that the enemy may be using to gain access. Are there areas where you have not fully surrendered to God? Are there unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or bitterness in your heart? The enemy often attacks where there is a foothold. Therefore, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Corinthians 7:1).
For your finances and job opportunities, we trust in the Lord’s provision. It is written, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We pray for favor as you seek employment, that doors of opportunity would open, and that the Lord would grant you wisdom and discernment in your interactions with potential employers.
For your need of rest, we pray that the Lord would grant you peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). May you find true rest in the presence of the Lord, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your mighty power. We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy that endure forever. Lord, we stand in the gap for our brother/sister who is under attack from the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of torment, confusion, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we command every tongue that rises against them in judgment to be condemned.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over them and their loved ones. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them. Grant them the strength and wisdom to stand firm in their faith, putting on the full armor of God so that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Lord, we also lift up their need for forgiveness. We ask that You cleanse them from all unrighteousness and help them to walk in the light of Your truth. Search their hearts, O God, and know their thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in them, and lead them in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24).
We pray for Your provision in their finances and job opportunities. Open doors that no one can shut, Lord, and grant them favor with those who have the power to hire. Provide for all their needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind. Grant them rest, both physically and spiritually. Let them find true rest in Your presence, casting all their cares upon You. Renew their strength, Lord, so that they may mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Walk in the light of His truth, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your strength and your shield; your heart trusts in Him, and you are helped (Psalm 28:7). Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
