Gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, rebuke, forgiveness and heal unforgiveness

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer
Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, rebuke this evil, successful fast. Please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. Please stop the attacks that are currently happening and never seem to end. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We join you in gratitude for the truth of Psalm 23, a passage that so beautifully declares God’s provision, protection, and peace. Indeed, the Lord is our Shepherd, and in Him, we lack nothing. Even in the darkest valleys, His presence is our comfort, and His goodness and love pursue us all the days of our lives. What a profound reminder that we are never alone, no matter the trials we face.

We lift your prayer before the throne of grace, standing with you in agreement for deliverance, peace, and rest. The attacks you describe, those relentless assaults that seem unending, are not from the Lord but from the enemy of our souls, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take authority over every scheme of the devil in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord rebuke him, and let every lying tongue, every accusation, and every spirit of fear be silenced in the name of Jesus Christ (Jude 1:9, 2 Timothy 1:7).

Forgiveness is a powerful act of obedience and freedom. We pray that the Lord would reveal to you any areas of unforgiveness in your heart, whether toward others or even toward yourself, and that He would grant you the grace to release it. Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer; it only harms the one who holds onto it. But when we forgive, we align ourselves with God’s heart and open the door for His healing (Matthew 6:14-15, Colossians 3:13). We ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart and fill you with His peace as you surrender these burdens to Him.

Your request for a successful fast is also before the Lord. Fasting is a sacred discipline that draws us closer to God, sharpens our spiritual discernment, and breaks the power of the flesh (Isaiah 58:6, Matthew 6:16-18). We pray that as you deny your physical hunger, your spiritual hunger for God’s presence and power would be intensified. May He strengthen you, sustain you, and reveal His will in fresh ways during this time.

We also want to gently address the importance of salvation and the name of Jesus. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for He alone can forgive sins and reconcile you to God. If you have already done so, we rejoice with you and pray that your faith would continue to grow deeper in Him.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and love. We thank You that You are our Shepherd, our Protector, and our Provider. Lord, we stand in agreement with our brother/sister for deliverance from every attack of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we take authority over every spirit of fear, accusation, and torment in the name of Jesus. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask for Your forgiveness to flow freely in their life. Reveal any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment, and grant them the grace to release it. Heal their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your love and compassion. We also pray for their fast, that You would strengthen them, sustain them, and draw them closer to You. May this time of seeking You bear much fruit in their life.

Lord, we rebuke every evil spirit that seeks to harass, oppress, or discourage them. Let every lying tongue be silenced, and let Your truth reign in their mind and heart. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We thank You, Father, for Your goodness and mercy that follow them all the days of their life. May they dwell in Your house forever, experiencing Your presence, peace, and rest. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord is fighting for you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this battle, and victory is yours in Christ Jesus.

We hear both the beauty of your trust and the exhaustion of ongoing attacks. That you can still hold on to “I lack nothing” while crying out for deliverance shows real faith under fire. We’re not surprised the battle feels never‑ending right now, and we’re glad you reached out.

When unforgiveness lingers, it can feel like a constant churning inside, even after we have already chosen to forgive. It often helps to remember that forgiveness has two parts: the deliberate choice to release the debt (which you can do in a moment) and the gradual healing of the heart (which may take time). God does not despise the process; He walks with you through it, just as the Shepherd leads through dark valleys, not around them. So be patient with yourself, and keep bringing those tangled feelings to Him without shame.

As you fast and pray, you are seeking His face, not just His hand. Rest may look less like the absence of trouble and more like finding quiet waters while enemies are still present, exactly what the psalmist experienced. Let that image anchor you. Is there a trusted friend or pastor who could simply sit with you and pray out loud during this season? Knowing someone is physically beside you can break the sense of isolation and make God’s nearness feel more tangible.

Shepherd of our souls, we come alongside Your child today. Guard their mind and heart with Your peace that defies understanding. In Jesus’ name we rebuke every evil that assails them. Bring deep rest, even in the storm. Heal the places where unforgiveness has taken root, and flood them with Your mercy. Strengthen their fast, and let this season draw them closer to You than ever before. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The twenty-third Psalm is a gracious cordial for a fainting heart, and you do well to set it before you. The Shepherd who leads you to green pastures will not fail to give you deliverance from the dark valley, for He has commanded it: "Deliver him from going down to the Pit." That command is backed by a ransom found in Christ Jesus, a way of escape no human thought could invent, a gift of divine love that rescues from the guilt and power of sin. The Lord has delivered you from the power of darkness; rest in that finished work, and let no echoing attacks shake your confidence.

You plead for peace, and none can give it but the Lord. "The Lord will bless His people with peace," and He does so through Jesus who is our peace. The blood of the cross whispers peace within, cleansing an evil conscience and speaking better things than the blood of Abel. Come now with an act of instantaneous faith, and rest shall follow, rest from the servile toil of earning grace, rest from the clamor of the accuser. When you are pressed by ongoing assaults, remember that all afflictions lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling; if He wounds, it is to heal. The noise of archers may roar about you, but He has delivered you from their ultimate harm.

You seek forgiveness and healing from unforgiveness. The rent veil before the mercy seat assures you that your sins are pardoned through the atonement. As for any root of bitterness lurking within, look to the law written in your heart by the Spirit, for it casts out evil lustings and makes you love as you have been loved. To do the will of Jesus is to forgive, and in that obedient yielding, perfect peace is found.

As for your fast and rebuke of evil, trust that God is gracious to hear. He who has given commandment to save you will also command the enemy to flee. Your sure defense is the blood and the word of the promise. Then go forward, not to die, but to live and declare the works of the Lord, for His goodness and mercy will follow you all your days.
