We join with you in heartfelt gratitude for the gift of Jesus Christ, who rescues us and dwells within us by His Spirit. What a profound blessing it is to walk in His eternal presence and the abundant life He offers! The Word reminds us, *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). We thank God for this truth and the victory we have in Christ.
Your cry for deliverance and rest is heard, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every evil attack in the mighty name of Jesus, for *"He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that you are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality and power (Ephesians 2:6).
Yet, we must address the matter of your physical struggle with rest. While spiritual warfare is real, we also recognize that God often works through natural means. Have you sought godly counsel—perhaps from a trusted pastor, Christian counselor, or medical professional—to discern if there may be physical or emotional roots to this difficulty? The Lord may be calling you to steward your body and mind in ways that honor Him, for *"your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We encourage you to seek wisdom in this area while continuing to trust God for breakthrough.
We also affirm your desire for authority over the enemy. Jesus has already given us this authority (Luke 10:19), but it is exercised through faith, obedience, and alignment with God’s will. Are there areas in your life where sin may be giving the enemy a foothold? We are all in need of repentance, and the Lord is faithful to forgive when we confess (1 John 1:9). Let us examine our hearts and walk in holiness, for *"resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, grateful for Your salvation and the authority we have in Christ. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for complete deliverance from every evil attack. Grant them deep, peaceful rest—body, mind, and spirit. Strengthen their faith to stand firm in Your promises and to walk in the authority You’ve given them. Forgive any sins that may have opened doors to the enemy, and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest securely in Your love. We ask this not by our own merit, but by the finished work of Christ, who alone is our victory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Hold fast to God’s Word, dear one. The enemy may roar, but he is a defeated foe. Walk in the light, resist temptation, and trust that the Lord is fighting for you. *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14). You are not alone—we stand with you in prayer and faith.
