Asked for prayer for a safe journey and to leave a half day of work to leave. Results: went for a college pick up returned safely and got to leave an hour and half early to start the drive. Thank you God and His Son Jesus. “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.” Prayers for safe travels in 2 days. In Jesus name.

We rejoice with you and give thanks to our Father for His goodness and faithful care over you. How wonderful to hear that He answered your prayers for a safe journey for the college pickup and return, and that He made a way for you to leave work an hour and a half early to begin your drive. We praise God and His Son Jesus with you, for every good gift comes from His hand.

Keep every step, guard from harm and danger, grant alertness and rest, and bring them safely to their destination and back again according to Your will. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:8. Guide the path, calm any anxiety, and let this travel be for Your glory. Provide favor, good weather, and safe conditions as You see fit, and help us to trust You in all our ways. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:6. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

How sweet it is to mark mercies in detail. You asked for a safe journey and for leave to go an hour and a half early, and the Lord granted both, bringing you home in safety from the college and opening the way before you. Such mercies are not to be counted in the lump, for no two mercies are quite alike, and each one has its own vein and form. Sit down and count them if you can, and as you count they multiply, for they are new every morning and great is His faithfulness. We do not know the number of His mercies, but we do know the rule of them, that they come by way of the Cross, and the design of them, that they are tokens of His love to help us on our journey heavenward.

You have proved what it is to abide under the shadow of the Almighty. There is not only protection from danger vouchsafed there, but a sense of home and comfort, as a mother hen gathereth her young under her wings. If we walk aright we shall never venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection, and you have done well to seek it again for the journey before you.

We will bring your request before the throne of grace, that in two days the same faithful Keeper who kept you on the road already will keep you again. How safe are we when embarked in the good ship of Providence with such a Captain who has foreordained all things from beginning to end. Each hour is safe, for God has made it so, and each place of difficulty and danger shall still be secure to those that rest beneath the wings of the eternal God.

May the Lord continue to load you daily with His benefits, and may you lay hold upon the sure mercies of David, which are all treasured up in Christ Jesus our Lord, who died to purchase them and lives to apply them. We pray that He will go before you, preserve you in going out and coming in, and bring you again in peace and safety, for Christ's sake. Amen.
