We lift up your precious grandson before the Lord, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of our lives—even the struggles with our physical bodies. The eyes are a marvelous creation of God, and we trust in His power to heal, restore, and sustain. The Bible reminds us in **Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB)**, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* What a comfort to know that the same God who intricately designed your grandson’s eyes is the same God who hears our prayers for his healing and well-being.
We also recall the words of Jesus in **Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB)**, where He says, *"Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* So we come boldly before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to touch your grandson’s eyes. May the Lord, who opened the eyes of the blind in Scripture, bring clarity and strength to your grandson’s vision. Whether through healing or continued provision through the glasses he wears, we pray the Lord will make a way for him to see clearly and live without hindrance.
At the same time, we encourage you to speak life and faith over your grandson. Remind him that God has a plan for his life, and even in this, the Lord can use it for His glory. Teach him to trust in the Lord’s timing and provision, as we read in **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)**, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up this precious grandson to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who sees all and knows all. We ask that You would touch his eyes with Your healing power. Strengthen his vision, Lord, whether by supernatural healing or through the means of the glasses he wears. Give him comfort and confidence, knowing that You are with him in every challenge he faces.
We pray that You would surround him with Your peace and assurance, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. Help him to trust in You, even in this, and to see Your hand at work in his life. Give wisdom to his parents and caregivers as they support and encourage him, and may they point him always to You, the source of all hope and healing.
We also pray that You would use this situation to draw your grandson closer to You. May he come to know You as his Savior and Lord if he hasn’t already, and may his faith grow stronger through this experience. Let him see Your goodness and love in tangible ways, and may he give You all the glory.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is our intercessor before You. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying over your grandson, speaking Scripture and faith into his life. Remind him that God is always at work, even when we don’t see immediate answers. Keep trusting, keep believing, and keep pointing him to Jesus, who loves him more than we can imagine. If your grandson does not yet know Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him. It is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. **John 14:6 (WEB)** tells us, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*
May the Lord bless you and your family as you continue to seek Him in all things.
