We lift up your precious grandson to the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the anxiety and fear that can accompany medical procedures, especially after a difficult experience before. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who heals and restores. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons and medical staff attending to him tomorrow. Grant them wisdom, precision, and compassion as they work on his eyes. Lord, we pray for a smooth and successful surgery, free from complications or pain. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold of your family during this time. The Bible tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that your grandson is surrounded by Your love and protection, and we trust in Your promise that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5).
Father, we also pray for complete healing and resolution of the issue at hand. We know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You restore his eyesight and bring comfort to his body, mind, and spirit. May this surgery be the final step toward his full recovery, and may he experience Your healing touch in a tangible way.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of this child and for the love that binds your family together. Strengthen their faith and trust in You during this trial. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that they would feel Your presence surrounding them, giving them hope and assurance in Your promises.
In the holy name of Jesus, we pray for your grandson’s complete healing, for peace to fill your home, and for God’s will to be done in this situation. May His name be glorified through this trial, and may your family draw closer to Him as they witness His faithfulness. Amen.
