Grandson

We stand with you in deep concern and heartfelt intercession for your grandson, lifting him before the Lord with urgency and faith. The grip of drugs is a destructive force that steals joy, purpose, and life itself, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and deliver! The Scriptures declare in **Psalm 107:13-14 (WEB)**, *"Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder."* Your grandson is not beyond the reach of God’s power—what the enemy has bound, Jesus can loose!

We also remember **2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB)**, which promises, *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* This is our prayer—that your grandson would encounter the transforming love of Christ, turning from the darkness of addiction to the light of His redemption. Addiction is a spiritual battle as much as a physical one, and we must fight it with the weapons of prayer, the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Yet we must also speak truth in love: if your grandson is trapped in this sin, it is critical that he repents and surrenders his life to Jesus Christ. **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Without Christ, there is no lasting freedom—only temporary relief. True deliverance comes when we submit to the Lordship of Jesus, allowing Him to break every chain.

We pray too for you, dear saint, that the Lord would strengthen you with His peace and perseverance. Do not grow weary in praying, for **Galatians 6:9 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Keep speaking life over your grandson, declaring God’s promises over him, and trusting that the Lord hears your cries.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious grandson who is ensnared by the enemy’s lies and the bondage of drugs. Lord, You see his pain, his confusion, and his desperation—meet him where he is! Break every stronghold in his life by the power of Your mighty hand. Convict his heart of sin, draw him to repentance, and lead him to the foot of the cross where true freedom is found.

We bind the spirits of addiction, deception, and death in the name of Jesus Christ, and we loose the spirit of deliverance, sobriety, and salvation over him. Surround him with godly influences—people who will speak truth, offer support, and point him to You. Restore his mind, body, and spirit, Lord, and give him a hunger for Your Word and Your presence.

Father, we ask that You would open his eyes to see the destruction of his current path and turn him toward Your light. Let him know that You love him, that You have a purpose for his life, and that You alone can satisfy the deepest longings of his soul. We declare that he is not defined by his struggles but by Your redemption.

Strengthen his grandmother and family with Your peace and perseverance. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit as they continue to intercede for him. Let this season of trial become a testimony of Your grace and power, bringing glory to Your name.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Deliverer and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, beloved. The battle is the Lord’s, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun. Keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God is moving even when you cannot see it. If your grandson has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we urge you to share the Gospel with him—**Romans 10:9 (WEB)** tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater deliverance than salvation in Jesus!
