We are so grateful to join with you in prayer for your beloved family members. Let's first lift up your granddaughter, who is feeling a heaviness in her heart. We are glad to hear she is a new Christian, and we trust that God will continue to work in her life and bring her peace. As she comes from a background of drug use in her family, it is encouraging to see her walking in a new life 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB states, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our ###'s granddaughter to You. Lord, she has accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, and we are so thankful for her decision. We know she is feeling heaviness in her heart. Please, comfort her and let her know You are her strength and refuge. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Guide her through the struggles she faces and remind her that You are always with her. Help her to rely on You for her strength and direction.
Lord, we also lift up her son who is suffering from PTSD. We pray for Your healing touch upon him. Give him the strength to endure and the faith to trust in You. We ask for wisdom and direction for those who are caring for him, that they may provide the support and guidance he needs.
Father, we also pray for all the lost loved ones. We ask that You draw them to Yourself and that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they would experience the love, grace, and mercy that only You can provide.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your granddaughter's background, remind her of Galatians 1:4 WEB, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father. She has been delivered from her background, and her old life has passed away. She is a new creation in Christ. As for your son, encourage him to trust in the Lord and lean on His understanding. God is faithful, and He will provide a way out of the struggles he faces. We encourage you to pray for one another and to support each other in prayer. May God bless your family, and may He guide each of you in His perfect will. We trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory.
Please remember that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God and that it is only in His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
If you have not already, we encourage you to pray and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This is the most important decision you will ever make, and it is the foundation upon which your faith and eternal life are built. May God bless you and your family as you continue to seek Him and His will for your lives.
