We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have counted it a joy to bring your deep desire before the Lord, that you would be given grace to worship the Father in spirit and truth according to John 4:23 and to come with confidence before the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need through Jesus Christ our merciful High Priest according to Heb 4:15-16, the one Mediator between God and man according to 1 Tim 2:5, our Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek according to Ps 110:4 and Heb 7:17.
We have continued to pray with you for that living connection to the Vine described in John 15:1-2, that as branches receiving life from the Vine you would bear much fruit, that your teaching would be with love from a purified heart and a faith without contradiction according to 1 Tim 1:5, that you would be strengthened to know the dimensions of Christ's love according to Eph 3:16-19 and to know God's will and walk in a manner worthy of Him according to Col 1:9-11. We also joined you in asking for nearness to God according to James 4:8, renewal of first love according to Rev 2:4, wisdom and revelation to know Him according to Eph 1:17, clarity and order according to 1 Cor 14:33, happy grace for daily work and wisdom for pressing needs according to Titus 3:14, fellowship with the Trinity and with His people according to 1 John 1:3, simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ according to 2 Cor 11:3, angelic protection according to Ps 91:11 and Heb 1:14, and keeping from temptation and evil and from every stumbling block according to Matt 6:13 and Rom 14:13 and John 17:15.
