Good and Faithful Servant

🙌 Heavenly Father, You've brought us thus far, 1 Sam 7:12, thank You for the seeds, souls, travel, transportation, witness to The Truth, the prayers You have answered, and those that You will continue to graciously grant, Rom 8:32. We now request You meet the need for a quiet, inexpensive yet accommodating RENTAL, Acts 28:30, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, so as to give them some assistance in practical and spiritual matters, 1 Tim 5:4, give honor to whom honor is due, Eph 6:2-3, set some things in order, Tit 1:5, strengthen and finish things that remain, Rev 3:2, and meet some pressing needs, Tit 3:14. I ask for GRACE to somewhat forget the things which lie behind, Phil 3:13-14, yet CONTINUE to intercede for them to be saved, Rom 10:1, and seeds to be watered, 1 Cor 3:6-7, AND for You to work all things together for good, Rom 8:28. I ask for GRACE to do BOTH, pray for the old, continue to conciliate, yet to PRIMARILY SHIFT FOCUS on THE NEW TASKS at HAND, Isa 42:9, 43:19, 48:6, Heb 12:1-2... So we ask YOU open a door no one can shut, Rev 3:7-8, for LODGING, as early as today, tonight (or tomorrow) so I can be settled in before the day of weekly meetings this weekend, and stop staying in still a relatively expensive, though as inexpensive as possible temporary inn. Thank You for the leadership of Christ and The Holy Spirit, John 10:3-4, Rom 8:14, for intercession for the past AND for new evangelism, discipleship, fellowship with The Triune God, believers AND a plan for formal study., Acts 19:9-10. We ask for GRACE to take hold of one thing without letting go of the other -- for the one that is wise comes forth with BOTH, Ecclesiastes 7:18. Thank You now for protection FROM temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, temptation and evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, and the evil one, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3, 1 John 5:18. Thank You in advance, Heb 11:6, Amen in Jesus' Name, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His faithfulness, as He has indeed brought us this far by His grace. We rejoice in the answered prayers and the seeds sown in faith, trusting that He who began a good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Your request for grace to fast and pray, a place to live, and the wisdom to balance old and new responsibilities is heard, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s perfect will in these matters.

Father, we thank You for the promise in Isaiah 58:6-12, that when Your people fast with a humble and repentant heart, You break every yoke, satisfy the afflicted, and make their light rise in darkness. We ask for the grace to fast with pure motives, seeking Your face above all else. May this time of fasting and prayer draw us closer to You, align our hearts with Your purposes, and release Your power to accomplish what concerns us today. Let our fasting not be for show but for the deep work of the Spirit in our lives, that we may be vessels of Your love and truth.

Lord, we lift up the need for a quiet, inexpensive, and accommodating place to live, as You provided for Paul in Acts 28:30. You know the desires of this heart—to honor aging parents and assist them in practical and spiritual ways, as Your Word commands in 1 Timothy 5:4 and Ephesians 6:2-3. We ask You to open a door no man can shut (Revelation 3:7-8), providing a dwelling that meets these needs swiftly, even as soon as today or tomorrow. Remove any obstacles, soften the hearts of those who may be involved, and let this transition be smooth and timely, so that the work of ministry and care for family may continue without hindrance.

We also recognize the tension between holding onto the past and pressing forward into the new things You are doing. Your Word tells us in Ecclesiastes 7:18 that the one who fears You will avoid all extremes—neither clinging too tightly to the past nor rushing recklessly into the future. Father, grant wisdom to know how to intercede for those seeds already sown, trusting You to water and grow them (1 Corinthians 3:6-7), while also embracing the new tasks You have set before us. Help us to forget what lies behind and strain toward what is ahead (Philippians 3:13-14), yet without neglecting the responsibilities You have already entrusted to us. Let us be faithful in both, for Your glory.

Lord, we ask for protection from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one (Matthew 6:13, 1 John 5:18). Guard our hearts and minds as we seek to live righteously, and deliver us from every evil influence. Strengthen us to walk in the Spirit, so that we do not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). May our lives be a testimony of Your transforming power, and may we be quick to repent when we stumble, knowing that Your grace is sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Finally, we are reminded that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and that without faith it is impossible to please You (Hebrews 11:6). We trust in Your provision, Your timing, and Your wisdom. May this season of transition be marked by Your peace, Your presence, and Your power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, through whom we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.

We join you in asking for grace to fast and pray, as well as for wisdom in balancing old and new responsibilities. We're grateful for the promise in Isaiah 58:6-12, reminding us that when we humble ourselves and fast with a right heart, God will satisfy the afflicted, break every yoke, and make our light rise in darkness.

We ask for grace to:
- Find a quiet, inexpensive, and accommodating place to live, as mentioned in Acts 28:30, that would allow us to honor and assist aging parents, as commanded in 1 Timothy 5:4 and Ephesians 6:2-3.
- Open a door for lodging, as early as today or tomorrow, so that we can settle in before the upcoming weekend meetings.
- Forget what lies behind and strain toward what is ahead, as Philippians 3:13-14 encourages, while still being faithful to our current responsibilities.
- Be protected from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one, as mentioned in Matthew 6:13 and 1 John 5:18.
- Trust in God's provision, timing, and wisdom, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17).

We pray these things in Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
