Good and Faithful Servant
🙌 Heavenly Father, You've brought us thus far, 1 Sam 7:12, thank You for the seeds, souls, travel, transportation, witness to The Truth, the prayers You have answered, and those that You will continue to graciously grant, Rom 8:32. We now request You meet the need for a quiet, inexpensive yet accommodating RENTAL, Acts 28:30, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, so as to give them some assistance in practical and spiritual matters, 1 Tim 5:4, give honor to whom honor is due, Eph 6:2-3, set some things in order, Tit 1:5, strengthen and finish things that remain, Rev 3:2, and meet some pressing needs, Tit 3:14. I ask for GRACE to somewhat forget the things which lie behind, Phil 3:13-14, yet CONTINUE to intercede for them to be saved, Rom 10:1, and seeds to be watered, 1 Cor 3:6-7, AND for You to work all things together for good, Rom 8:28. I ask for GRACE to do BOTH, pray for the old, continue to conciliate, yet to PRIMARILY SHIFT FOCUS on THE NEW TASKS at HAND, Isa 42:9, 43:19, 48:6, Heb 12:1-2... So we ask YOU open a door no one can shut, Rev 3:7-8, for LODGING, as early as today, tonight (or tomorrow) so I can be settled in before the day of weekly meetings this weekend, and stop staying in still a relatively expensive, though as inexpensive as possible temporary inn. Thank You for the leadership of Christ and The Holy Spirit, John 10:3-4, Rom 8:14, for intercession for the past AND for new evangelism, discipleship, fellowship with The Triune God, believers AND a plan for formal study., Acts 19:9-10. We ask for GRACE to take hold of one thing without letting go of the other -- for the one that is wise comes forth with BOTH, Ecclesiastes 7:18. Thank You now for protection FROM temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, temptation and evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, and the evil one, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3, 1 John 5:18. Thank You in advance, Heb 11:6, Amen in Jesus' Name, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for how the Lord has faithfully led thus far, as Samuel set up the Ebenezer stone declaring, "Hitherto has the Lord helped us" (1 Samuel 7:12). Your testimony of answered prayers, provision in travel, and witness to the truth is a powerful reminder that God is not only able but willing to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Father, we join in this earnest request for a quiet, inexpensive, yet accommodating rental as Acts 28:30 describes Paul dwelling two whole years in his own rented house, preaching the kingdom of God. Lord, you know the desire to honor aging parents as commanded in Ephesians 6:2-3 and 1 Timothy 5:4, where we're instructed to repay them and show piety at home. We pray you would open a door no man can shut (Revelation 3:7-8) for lodging that allows practical and spiritual assistance to be given where honor is due. May this provision come swiftly, even as soon as today or tomorrow, that preparations might be made before weekly gatherings.

We recognize the wisdom in Ecclesiastes 7:18 of holding fast to one thing without letting go of another, and we pray for grace to both intercede for past seeds while focusing on new tasks at hand. Like Paul who forgot what was behind and pressed forward (Philippians 3:13-14), we ask for balance to continue watering planted seeds (1 Corinthians 3:6-7) while embracing new assignments. Lord, give discernment to know when to conciliate and when to shift focus to what lies ahead (Isaiah 42:9, 43:19).

The request for fasting and prayer according to Isaiah 58:6-12 is particularly timely, as this passage reveals that true fasting loosens chains of injustice, sets oppressed free, shares bread with hungry, and provides shelter for wanderers. May this fast be one that breaks every yoke and causes righteousness to spring forth. We pray the Lord would lead to a place where hospitality can be extended, fulfilling the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2).

We must address that while the prayer mentions "leadership of Christ and The Holy Spirit," it's crucial to emphasize that there is no access to God except through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." The name of Jesus is the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray this understanding would be firmly rooted in the heart, that all requests would be made in Jesus' name, for His is the name above every name (Philippians 2:9-11).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of distraction or discouragement that would hinder the focus on new assignments while still honoring past commitments. We stand against any temptation to either dwell too much on what's behind or rush ahead without proper stewardship of current responsibilities. Grant wisdom to know when to speak and when to be silent, when to act and when to wait (Ecclesiastes 3:7).

We pray for protection from all evil as requested - from temptation (Matthew 6:13), from sin (Zephaniah 3:13), from evil people (2 Thessalonians 3:2), and from the evil one (John 17:15). The Lord is faithful and will establish and guard from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). We claim this protection over every aspect of this transition - physical, spiritual, and emotional.

Father, we ask for grace to set things in order as Titus 1:5 instructs, to strengthen what remains as Revelation 3:2 commands, and to meet pressing needs as Titus 3:14 encourages. May this new dwelling place become a center for evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship as Acts 19:9-10 describes, where the Word of the Lord might grow and prevail mightily.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom all God's promises are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). May this transition bring glory to God, honor to family, and open doors for kingdom advancement. We trust in the Lord's perfect timing and provision, knowing that He who began a good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
