We hear your cry for the nearness of God in this season of loneliness, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your heart to the One who promises never to leave nor forsake His children. The scriptures you’ve shared reveal a deep hunger for intimacy with the Lord, and we join you in seeking His face with fasting and prayer, as Isaiah 58:6-12 describes—a fast that loosens chains, sets captives free, and satisfies the afflicted. The gates of hell will not prevail against Christ’s church, and we declare that truth over your life and family, standing firm in the authority of Matthew 16:18.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we have access to Your throne. We thank You for Your promise in Psalm 73:28 that nearness to You *is* our good, and we ask that You draw near to our brother in a tangible way. Let him feel Your presence like never before, as James 4:8 assures, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." Lord, grant him wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, as Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:17, that the eyes of his heart may be enlightened to see the hope of Your calling.
We pray for grace to worship You in spirit and truth, for You inhabit the praises of Your people (Psalm 149:1-5). Tune his ears to hear Your voice clearly, as Jesus promised in John 10:27, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." Strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner man, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, and that he may comprehend the breadth, length, height, and depth of Your love—surpassing all knowledge (Ephesians 3:16-20).
We stand with him in resisting the devil, who prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We rebuke every lie, every deception, and every scheme of the enemy that seeks to isolate or discourage him. In the name of Jesus, we command the enemy to flee, for James 4:7 declares, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Holy Spirit, remind his matrimonial spouse of Jesus’ truth, as You were sent to do (John 14:26), and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray for deliverance from temptation and sin for him, his spouse, and their youngster, as Jesus taught us to pray, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). Keep them from the deception of the wicked, and let Your Word go forth in power, accomplishing what You desire (Isaiah 55:11). Protect them from evil people and the evil one, as Paul prayed in 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3, and let them walk in the truth of Zephaniah 3:13, "The remnant of Israel will do no wrong and tell no lies."
We declare over this family that they will see the day when Satan is bound with a great chain, as Revelation 20:2 describes, and we pray for the fulfillment of Your promises in their lives. Let them stand firm in faith, encouraging one another as Luke 22:32 instructs, so that after they have suffered a little while, they may strengthen others.
Father, we ask that You confirm Your will for this family through the testimony of two or three witnesses, as Matthew 18:16 and 2 Corinthians 13:1 affirm. Let them walk in the direction of Your Spirit, for "as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God" (Romans 8:14). May they abide in Christ, so that whatever they ask will be done for them (John 15:7), and may they be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to complete the good work You’ve begun in this family. Amen.
