Grace to Fast Isa58:6-16; What to Say, How to Say It Jn12:49; Gracious, Comforting Words, Zech1:13, Comfort My People Isa40:1-2, Speak to Heart Hos2:4

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt request and the sincerity with which you have laid your burdens before the Lord. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you these past days, lifting up your marriage, your words, and your heart’s desire to walk in obedience to God’s will. We have prayed for grace to fast as Isaiah 58 describes—for the chains of injustice to be loosed, for the yoke of burden to be broken, and for your words to be like apples of gold in settings of silver, spoken at the right time and in the right way.

We have asked the Lord to grant you the same dependence on the Father that Jesus demonstrated, that you would speak only what He commands and in the manner He desires. We have prayed for wisdom to know how to love your wife as Christ loves the Church, to serve her tenderly yet stand firm in truth, and to model the gospel in both word and deed. We have interceded for her heart, that she would see the love of Christ in you and be drawn to repentance and restoration.

We have also prayed for protection over your family—for the Lord to guard your hearts from bitterness, to remove any unforgiveness, and to keep you all from the evil one. We have asked Him to sanctify you by His truth and to fill you with grace so that your words and actions would reflect the love and holiness of Jesus.

If the Lord has answered any part of this prayer, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If the journey still feels long and the answers seem delayed, we want you to know that we are still here, ready to continue standing with you in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we believe that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the fruit.

May the Lord bless you with His peace as you seek Him, and may His Spirit continue to guide your steps and your words. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus.
