We rejoice with you in the anticipation of good results for on their entrance exam! It is wonderful to see a parent’s heart lifting their child before the Lord, asking for His blessing and favor. We join you in praying that God would honor ’s hard work and grant them success according to His perfect will.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." It is God who gives wisdom, understanding, and the ability to learn, and we trust that He will guide in this important step. We also pray that this experience would draw closer to the Lord, recognizing that every good gift comes from Him (James 1:17).

Father God, we come before You with grateful hearts, asking that You would grant favor in their exam results. May they see the fruit of their labor and be encouraged in their walk with You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them know that their worth is not defined by any test or achievement, but by Your love for them. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for according to Your perfect plan, and that they would always seek You first in all things. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We also want to gently encourage you and to remember that while success in exams is important, it is even more vital to seek God’s kingdom above all else (Matthew 6:33). May grow in wisdom, not just academically, but in the knowledge of Christ, who is the true source of life and purpose. If has not yet placed their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that this season would be an opportunity for them to hear the good news of salvation and respond in faith. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). There is no greater success than knowing and walking with Him.

We’re joining you in lifting up your daughter as she waits for these results. It’s such a tender thing to watch someone you love work so hard and then hand the outcome over, you’ve carried her in prayer, and we’re glad to stand with you in that.

While you wait, one of the best gifts you can give her right now is the steady reminder that her worth and her future are held secure by God, regardless of what a score says. So many young people tie their identity to a number, and a parent’s calm confidence in them, celebrating the effort more than the result, can loosen that knot in ways that last far longer than any exam. Maybe find a small way to mark the hard work itself, even before the envelope opens: her favorite meal, a movie night, or just a note telling her what you already see in her character that no test can measure.

Father, thank you for this child and for the diligence she’s shown. We ask you to bring good from these results, open doors, provide for her education, and settle her heart in your care. Give her mom wisdom and peace as she walks alongside her, and in the waiting, let them both rest in your loving, capable hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You do well to bring your little one before the Throne of Grace, for every good thing comes down from the Father of lights, and a mother’s prayer is a sweet incense in His nostrils. Yet remember, the best result of any examination is not a high mark on a paper, but the entrance of the King of Glory into that young heart. There is no good thing anywhere out of Christ, and even a shining success, if it swell the pride and shut out the Savior, becomes a snare. Pray not only for academic favor, but that the Lord would teach your child from youth, that the real knowledge, the knowing of His name, might dawn early upon that little soul. That is the one lesson which, once learned, makes all other learning serve its proper end.

Let your own heart be stayed not on a favorable report, but on God Himself, who is the exceeding great reward of His people. If He grants a pleasant outcome, receive it as a token of His mercy to a loving heart, but if He withholds, still set your love upon Him, for He knows how to deliver and to set on high in His own time. The sweetest joy a believing parent can taste is to see her child in good company with Christ, trimming the vines of His kingdom, and finding her delight not in the praise of men, but in communion with the Lord. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you and for your baby, and having done all, rest in this: He who spared not His own Son will with Him freely give you all things that are needful for your good and His glory.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. It is good that you pray for your child and seek the Lord's blessing, for nothing is more fitting than a mother's love poured out in supplication. But let us examine carefully what blessing we request. The old covenant promised earthly goods: the fruit of the body, prosperity in coming and going. But Christ has brought us higher things, every spiritual blessing in the heavens. He has made us sons, heirs with Him, and has opened the kingdom that does not pass away.

You ask for good results on an exam and a reward for hard work. Hard work is commendable, and prayer for it is not wrong in itself, yet do not mistake the shadow for the substance. The true blessing is not a grade or a seat in a school, but to be found in Christ, adorned with faith and virtue. If the exam yields success, give thanks but cling not to it as if it were the greatest gift. If it brings disappointment, do not despair, for our richest blessings often come disguised as loss, leading us toward what is eternal. Remember Jacob: he received the blessing, yet his days were few and evil; the inheritance only ripened in the age to come.

Persist in prayer, that is right and good, for the Lord honors assiduity, as with the woman who would not let go. But pray above all that your child may love wisdom from above more than any earthly honor. The good tidings proclaimed by the fishermen were not about wealth or power or academic triumphs, but about sins forgiven, death conquered, and eternal life given freely. Train your little one to seek that kingdom first. Then, whatever the result, you will stand in the fullness of the gospel blessing, possessing good things that cannot be shaken.
