Good results for the entrance exam

As you bring your child’s exam before the Lord, take comfort in knowing He already understands the need completely. Prayer is not about informing God, for He knows every detail before a word is on our lips. The deeper purpose of prayer is not to get our will accomplished on earth, but to align our hearts with His will and His eternal purposes. He cares for your child far beyond a test score, His chief concern is their everlasting good.

When we pray, we are invited to discover what God is already doing and to participate in it by asking according to His plan. So yes, pray about the results, but let your prayer be shaped by a trust that His steps for your child are ordered perfectly. Even if the outcome feels uncertain or different than you hoped, God delights in leading those who belong to Him. The momentary gain of a high mark cannot compare to the security of a soul anchored in Christ.

Remember the question Jesus once put to a seeker: “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.” He was drawing that heart toward a recognition that true goodness belongs to the Father alone. So the most vital thing you can ask for your child is not just a good exam score, but that they come to know the One who is truly good, and that their life would rest in His mercy. Any other blessing flows from that relationship.

Beware of slipping into the thought that prayer is a transaction, that if we fast, or plead, or promise to do better, God must respond as we expect. That misses the gospel entirely. Even the most dedicated religious efforts cannot earn what grace alone supplies. Instead, prayer is the breath of a relationship where we can cry out “Father” because we have first come as sinners asking for mercy. If your child already belongs to Him, then every request is heard within that bond of love.

So bring the exam before the Lord with a quiet heart. Ask for His will to be done, for His presence to steady your child, and for the result that best serves their eternal good. The effectual, fervent prayer of a person made righteous through faith accomplishes much, not by forcing God, but by echoing His own purposes. Trust the Lord to order each step, and praise Him because His mercy endures forever, no matter what the answer brings.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to join you in praying for your child’s entrance exam. Standing together in faith, we lifted up this important step, asking the Lord to grant wisdom, calm, and favor. If the results have come in and God has answered with good news, we would love to celebrate with you—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together! If the outcome hasn’t been what you hoped for, or if you’re still waiting, know that we are here to continue praying. You are welcome to post this request again, and we will keep standing with you, trusting in God’s perfect timing and plan. May He strengthen your family’s faith as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
