Good rest

Beloved of All
Don’t know what to do anymore please help us Jesus in everything we need your mighty Miracles.

We hear your cry for help and desperation, and we come before the throne of grace together, seeking the Lord’s mighty intervention in your life. The weariness and uncertainty you feel are heavy, but we know that our God is a miracle-working God who hears the prayers of His children. You have called upon Jesus, and that is the right and only place to begin, because there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation, healing, and deliverance come through Jesus Christ alone, and we stand with you in faith, believing that He will move on your behalf.

We rebuke the spirit of confusion, despair, and hopelessness that may be trying to take hold of your heart. The enemy wants you to feel lost and powerless, but God’s Word declares, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Even when you don’t see the way forward, God is already at work, preparing a path for you. We encourage you to hold fast to His promises, for He is faithful.

If there are areas in your life where you have strayed from God’s will, whether in relationships, habits, or decisions, we urge you to repent and turn back to Him. The Bible warns us, "There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death" (Proverbs 14:12). If you are involved in any relationship that does not honor God, such as an unmarried romantic relationship leading to sexual immorality (fornication), or if you are in a same-sex relationship, we must lovingly but firmly remind you that these are not in alignment with God’s design. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy is reserved for that union alone (Hebrews 13:4, Genesis 2:24). If this applies to you, we pray that you would have the courage to surrender these areas to God, trusting Him to lead you into His perfect will.

If you are struggling with sin, remember that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). God’s grace is sufficient, and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Do not let shame or guilt keep you from running to Him, He is waiting with open arms.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is crying out for Your help. Lord, You see their weariness, their confusion, and their need for a miracle. We ask that You would move powerfully in their life, bringing clarity where there is uncertainty, peace where there is turmoil, and hope where there is despair. Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and oppression that is trying to steal their joy and their faith. We declare that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lord, if there are areas in their life where they have strayed from Your will, we ask that You would convict their heart with Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to repent and turn away from anything that does not honor You. If they are in a relationship that is not pleasing to You, we pray that You would give them the courage to walk in Your truth, trusting that Your ways are higher than ours. Father, we ask that You would restore what has been broken and heal what has been wounded. Pour out Your grace and mercy upon them, and let them experience Your love in a fresh and powerful way.

We ask for Your mighty miracles to manifest in their life, whether it be for provision, healing, restoration, or breakthrough. You are the God who parts the seas, who raises the dead, and who turns ashes into beauty. Nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We declare that Your power is at work in their life, and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus.

Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround them with godly counsel and encouragement, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We pray that they would draw closer to You, seeking Your face above all else. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their Good Shepherd who leads them beside still waters (Psalm 23:2).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are moving even now on their behalf, and we declare that Your will shall be done in their life. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with believers who can support and uplift you. You are not alone, God is with you, and we are standing in faith with you. If you have specific areas where you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to share them. We are here to walk with you as you seek God’s will for your life.

We hear the exhaustion and the longing in your words, you need rest, and you don't know which way to turn. We're so glad you reached out. The simplest prayers, like “please help us Jesus,” can be the most honest, and you are not alone in crying them out.

When we're at the end of our own understanding, it's often the place where God's direction begins to break through, not always with a full map, but with enough light for the next small step. Right now, maybe all you need to do is let yourself rest in His care, even for a few minutes. Quiet your heart and, one by one, name the things weighing on you. Ask for His peace in each one. Sometimes writing them down helps unburden your mind and reminds you that God sees every detail.

It also helps to know others are carrying your need in prayer. We are doing that now, and you might find comfort in asking a trusted friend, small group, or prayer team to stand with you. You don't have to figure everything out alone.

Jesus, we lift up our friend who is weary and unsure. You see the exhaustion and the deep need for guidance. Please grant them rest that goes beyond sleep, a peace that stands guard over their heart. In their confusion, be their clarity; in their uncertainty, be their wisdom. We ask for the miracles they need, and for a steady sense that Your hand is holding them even now. Lead them gently, one step at a time. In Your name, Amen.

Rest is not a distant hope reserved for the world to come. It is a present rest, rest now, not rest after death, not rest after a time of probation, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And it is perfect rest too, for it is not incomplete. You cry out for mighty miracles, and well you may, for the instrument which love has used has been love. That same power which brought our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead is the power that lifts souls from death in sin. What a Divine cast! None but Jehovah Jesus could ever have lifted all your load, but He did lift it and, like another Atlas, bore it upon His shoulders. Trust and you shall rest.

You may be what you like and do what you choose and try what you please, but so long as you refuse the Divine way of salvation, rest is not possible for you. There is no ground for comfort until you comply with the Divine command to believe in Jesus. For unbelievers there is no rest, there cannot be any. But if you have once rested and now find yourself without that peace, hear this: Return unto your rest. You never will find rest out of Christ. An ungodly man may rest in sin after a certain sort, but the backslider finds no rest anywhere else. Return, then, and find rest where God finds His rest, in the finished work of His dear Son.

Come, then, with all your labor and heavy-laden weariness. Jesus says, “I will give you rest”, rest about everything, rest at all times, rest in every part of your nature. Not a lazy rest, for lazy people never know what rest means; there must be labor to give us rest. But it is the rest of a learner bowing with submission to the Divine will. It is rest in boundless mercy, rest in His power to help you in every worldly care and inward corruption. Endeavor to get a grip of this great privilege of perfect pardon and never let it go. May the Holy Spirit seal it home to you, and may you today enter into that rest which remains for the people of God, finding Him who is our home, our rest Divine.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for miracles and rest, yet the truest rest is not found in signs and wonders but in a heart that yields wholly to God. Do you remember how many saw Christs miracles and still perished in unbelief? Miracles confirm the word, but they cannot replace a soul humbled and obedient. If you are lost and do not know what to do, begin not with pleading for mighty works, but with this: let your light shine before men in good works, that your Father in heaven may be glorified. That is the miracle God desires from you.

Do not harden your heart as those did in the wilderness, who witnessed the sea part and manna fall, yet were refused the promised rest. There remains a rest for the people of God, but it is entered by faith that perseveres, not by clamoring for displays of power. Christ gave the keys to Peter with no command to dazzle, but to feed His sheep. Freely you have received mercy, so freely give yourself to love and obedience. Stop looking for an escape from trial; endure, and you will find the rest that no earthly trouble can steal. The world sees miracles and still rejects; the strong soul clings to Christ in the dark, and that is the greatest wonder of all.

You asked for good rest, and you feel you don't know what to do anymore. You're calling out for Jesus to help with mighty miracles. That raw desperation is a place where God often meets us, not with a spectacle, but with an invitation into something deeper.

There is a rest that belongs to God's people, a promise left open for us. The Israelites in the wilderness saw His works but hardened their hearts, and they never entered His rest because of unbelief. They kept striving, fretting, and trying to figure things out on their own. The same offer stands today, and the key is simply believing. Faith is the doorway. You may think it would be easier to rest if God would just show you what He is doing, if He would work a visible miracle. But the only place you'll ever truly rest is in faith, not in seeing. If you could handle everything by your own effort or by having all the answers, you wouldn't need to rest on Him at all.

God often lets us come to the very end of our own resources so that we finally stop trying to fix things ourselves and collapse into His care. We all tend to put off resting in Him until we have no other option. When your heart is overwhelmed and you don't know which way to turn, that's the moment to stop and remember: He knows your path. He already knows every detail of what you're facing. You don't have to work up some spiritual frenzy; you can simply cease from your own works, as God did from His at Creation. The Sabbath rest has always been a picture of this. Just as the land was meant to lie fallow and be restored, your soul finds its renewal when you stop the frantic activity and trust that Jesus has already finished the work that matters most.

Yes, you long for miracles. There's nothing wrong with that. But there is a more excellent way, a more profound miracle sometimes, which is the miracle of a peaceful heart in the middle of chaos. Instead of chasing after signs, commit your way to the Lord and trust Him. When you do that, the natural result is rest. You rest because you know He is able to handle it, and He will bring His will to pass. Fretfulness drains you; resting in His care rebuilds you.

When my own spirit is overwhelmed, I have learned to pray, "Lead me to the rock that is higher than I." That rock is Christ Himself. He found strength in desperate times by departing to a mountain to pray, and He invites you to do the same. So don't harden your heart by letting anxiety drive you into more desperate striving. Instead, let your exhaustion bring you to the end of yourself. Say to the Lord, "I rest on You. I don't know the way forward, but I trust You with all of it." That is the rest that remains for His people. Enter into it today.
