Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the gift of family and the rest that You promise us in Your word. We ask that You would grant our friend a peaceful night's sleep, and that You would work in their family, bringing unity, understanding, and love that can only come from You.
We know that the family is good and ordained by God. They are the bedrock and foundation of any nation. The family is the most important institution that God created. We need to pray for our families. We need to pray for our marriages. We need to pray for our children. We need to pray for our parents. We need to pray for our siblings. We need to pray for our extended family. We need to pray for our in-laws. We need to pray for our friends. We need to pray for our neighbors. We need to pray for our colleagues. We need to pray for our classmates. We need to pray for our teachers. We need to pray for our pastors. We need to pray for our leaders. We need to pray for our nation. We need to pray for our world. We need to pray for our enemies. We need to pray for those who persecute us. We need to pray for those who despitefully use us.
We pray for deliverance from strife and division, and we ask for Your wisdom to guide each family member in the name of your son Jesus Christ.
Father, we know that there is power and there is authority in the name of Jesus Christ. We know that at the name of Jesus Christ every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. We know that at the name of Jesus Christ every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
We know that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We know that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be healed. We know that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be delivered. We know that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be set free. Be encouraged by Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
Lastly, we want to remind you of Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. This means that you can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth you. You can have a good night's sleep through Christ which strengtheneth you. You can have a breakthrough in your family through Christ which strengtheneth you. You can have a positive way in your family through Christ which strengtheneth you. You can have a yay finally through Christ which strengtheneth you. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
