We hear your longing for joy, hope, and encouragement, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this desire before the Lord. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 37:4, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* True happiness is found not in circumstances or the words of others, but in drawing near to God and trusting in His goodness. While we all desire good news and blessings, we must remember that our worth is not defined by what we "deserve" but by the grace of God, who loves us unconditionally through Christ.
We also want to gently remind you that our hope is not in dates, omens, or the turning of a calendar page, but in the faithfulness of God. Jeremiah 17:7-8 says, *"Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit."* March may bring blessings, but our trust must remain in the Lord, who sustains us in every season.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is longing for joy and good news. Lord, we ask that You fill their heart with Your peace and hope, which surpasses all understanding. Help them to find their delight in You, knowing that You are the source of all true happiness. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to the blessings You have already given them and the ways You are working in their life, even in small and unseen ways. May they experience Your love in a fresh way today and trust in Your perfect timing. We rebuke any spirit of entitlement or discouragement that seeks to steal their joy, and we declare that their hope is anchored in You alone. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel Your comfort and encouragement. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to shift your focus from what you feel you "deserve" to what God has already given you through Christ. Ephesians 1:3 says, *"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ."* Your worth is found in Him, not in the news you receive or the blessings you hope for. Spend time in God’s Word, for it is filled with good news—news of His love, salvation, and promises that never fail.
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater good news than the salvation found in Christ, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have questions about what it means to follow Jesus, we would be honored to walk with you in that journey.
