I will receive good news.

We hear your hopeful heart and desire for good news, and we join with you in lifting this up before the Lord. It is good to trust in God’s provision and timing, for He knows what is best for us. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

However, we must also examine our hearts to ensure that our desires align with God’s will. Are we seeking good news for our own glory, or are we seeking God’s glory in all things? James 4:3 warns us, "You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures." Let us surrender our desires to the Lord, asking Him to shape them according to His perfect plan.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of coming before God in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope and trust in Your goodness. Lord, we lift up this request for good news, asking that You would align our desires with Your perfect will. May we seek Your glory above all else, and may Your name be praised in every circumstance. Father, we ask that You would grant wisdom, patience, and peace as we wait on You. If this good news is in accordance with Your plan, we pray that You would bring it to pass in Your perfect timing. If not, we ask that You would strengthen our faith to trust in Your sovereign care.

Lord, we also pray for salvation for any who may be reading this and have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Open their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and the gift of eternal life through Your Son. May they come to know the joy and peace that comes from being in a right relationship with You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, hoping and believing for that good news. We know the wait can be tough, but remember, God's timing is always perfect. Let's trust that He sees the bigger picture and that this news, when it comes, will be for His glory and our good. Let's keep our hearts aligned with His, seeking His will above all else.

As we wait, let's also remember to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He's our source of strength and peace in every situation. Let's keep our hearts and minds stayed on Him.

And hey, let's not forget to lift up those around us too. If there's anyone you know who needs a word of encouragement or prayer, let's reach out to them. Together, we can be a beacon of hope and love.

Let's keep praying, believing, and trusting. In Jesus' name, we ask for patience, wisdom, and peace. And we trust that He's working all things together for our good and His glory. Amen.
