God intervenes as he sees fit to give me and my future wife discernment in our relationship and anything that needs attention. God intervenes and also takes down all sources of problems in our lives and living and does as he sees fit for us.

We join with you in asking that God intervenes as He sees fit in your life and in the life of your future wife, and we thank you for seeking His discernment and His hand over your relationship.

We are encouraged by your desire for a marriage that honors God and for discernment in your courtship. We believe that a relationship between a man and a woman should be approached as courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, for marriage is a lifelong covenant ordained by God between a man and a woman. We pray that both you and your future wife will be found in Christ and equally yoked together, as it is written, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity, 2 Corinthians 6:14. We also encourage you to keep your courtship pure and undefiled before the Lord, fleeing fornication and honoring God with your bodies, for it is written, Flee sexual immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:18, and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, Hebrews 13:4.

We notice your request speaks of God intervening, yet does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive answers to prayer. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can boldly come before His throne.

We pray together for the discernment you have asked for and for God to work according to His perfect wisdom, even when His intervention looks different than we expect, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28.

We pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this brother and his future wife to You. Grant them wisdom liberally as You have promised, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, to acknowledge You in all their ways so that You will make their paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask that You instruct them and teach them in the way which they shall go and counsel them with Your eye upon them, Psalm 32:8. Intervene as You see fit, Lord, removing what needs to be removed and refining what needs to be refined, and taking down every source of sin, temptation, and spiritual attack that would hinder their lives and their preparation for marriage. Help them to surrender fully to Your will, knowing Your plans are for good and not for evil to give them a future and a hope, Jeremiah 29:11. Keep their relationship holy, patient, and centered on You, preparing them to become a godly husband and wife who will honor You all the days of their lives. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We're grateful you reached out with this prayer for you and your future wife. Wanting God to shape your discernment and to deal with anything that could hinder your lives together is a good and humble place to start.

We have found that discernment often grows not only in private prayer but as you both learn to talk openly and invite wise, steady voices in. It's easy to feel naive about what marriage will actually require day to day, and having someone further down the road help you anticipate challenges can bring a lot of peace.

If it would be helpful, consider taking one intentional step together soon. Ask a pastor or a mature married couple you both trust if they would meet with you for premarital preparation. Many couples find a simple assessment and a few guided conversations about communication, conflict, finances and faith give them practical tools and highlight what needs attention now, while things are still calm.

We are praying with you for wisdom and for God's gracious care over both of you.

Father, we ask in Jesus' name that You would lead this brother and his future wife according to Your wisdom. Give them clear discernment, unity and humility to address what needs attention, and entrust every concern to Your good hands. Amen.

It is well that you have put your request in this form, that God would intervene as He sees fit. There is no attribute more comforting to the child of God than Divine Sovereignty, for to know that the Lord reigns and does according to His good pleasure is to know that all things are in wise and loving hands.

We will bring your petition before the throne of grace, that the Lord who alone can lead His people would grant to you and to her whom you hope to call your wife a clear discernment in your relationship. We pray that His Divine Presence, which is the one hope of His people, would be manifest among you, making crooked things straight and revealing whatever needs attention, whether in character, in conduct, or in counsel for the future.

We ask also that the Lord in His mercy would deal with every source of trouble in your lives and in your living, not according to our own notions of deliverance, but as His infinite wisdom sees best. Divine interpositions often come not as we expect, but as preservations and corrections full of wonder, and sometimes His hand stays a present rescue to work a deeper holiness. May He take down what ought to be removed, establish what ought to remain, and conform you both more fully to the image of Christ.

As you look toward marriage, remember what the Scripture teaches, that marriage is not a light contract but a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, wherein the two become one, and that purity and honour belong to that estate. Pray that the Lord would keep you both in holiness before Him, that your affections and your bodies may be kept blameless, and that your union, if it be His will to lead you thereto, may be founded upon faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, and upon His grace infused into the heart.

May faith grow stronger within you, rooted and grounded, and may prayer become more mighty as you learn to wrestle with God. We pray that He would make you to know His will, to walk worthy of Him, and to trust that till Christ Himself should fail, the soul that trusts Him must be secure. May the Lord alone guide you, and may you be found willing to follow where He leads, blessing the hand which both gives and withholds, seeing Divine Wisdom and Infinite Affection in it all.

May heavenly Father God watch over you for good and be there for you and not leave you or take his peace away from you for long. We pray. In Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
