We join with you in lifting up our brother who leads the NZ Rugby Prayer Group and we thank God for his willingness to serve and to shine the light of Christ among these young men.

We pray that God will pour out His wisdom and anointing upon him in abundance. James 1:5 reminds us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask the Father to grant him wisdom from above that is pure, peaceable and full of mercy, and that his words would be seasoned with grace and truth. We also pray for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, for 1 John 2:27 tells us that the anointing which we have received from Him remains in us and teaches us all things.

We pray that as he speaks God's Word, it would go forth with power and boldness. We claim Ephesians 6:19 over him, that utterance may be given to him in opening his mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, and 2 Timothy 2:15 that he may be diligent to present himself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. May he faithfully proclaim Jesus Christ, for Matthew 5:14 says, You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden, and Matthew 5:16 says, Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

We pray for the boys and for everyone God brings across his path, that bondages would indeed be broken and that they would know the freedom, peace, joy and life that only Jesus gives. Isaiah 61:1 declares, The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound. We pray that many hearts would be opened to receive Jesus and to walk in that liberty, for John 8:36 says, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, and Romans 8:6 tells us the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this leader to Your throne of grace. Anoint his lips, guard his heart, strengthen his faith, and fill him with Your Spirit. Give him discernment for each conversation, courage to speak Your Word without compromise, and love that reflects Christ to these young men. Let his life and testimony draw others to You, and let every gathering of this prayer group bring glory to Your name and advance Your kingdom. We pray that You would raise up more laborers from among these boys, that they would become men of God who follow You wholeheartedly. We ask You to protect this brother from discouragement and weariness, and to renew his strength daily. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we trust You to do far more than we ask or imagine, all for Your service and glory in Jesus' name, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your heart for this leader and the NZ Rugby Prayer Group. It means a lot that you are standing behind him in prayer as he seeks to speak God's Word faithfully and care for the boys God brings across his path.

We love how you prayed specifically for wisdom and anointing. That is exactly what a leader in this kind of ministry needs, not just good ideas but God's equipping to serve with humility and compassion. A servant-hearted leader who wants the best for others while staying true to the mission reflects Christ well, and we can see you desire that for him, that his words and life would point to Jesus and bring real peace and freedom to those listening.

One simple way to strengthen him further is to let him know you are praying in this way. A brief message of encouragement that you are asking God for wisdom and clarity for him can be a real lift when he carries responsibility for others.

Father, we lift this brother to You and thank You for his willingness to serve. Give him wisdom as he prepares and speaks, and anoint him with Your Spirit for the work You have given him. Guard his own walk with You, renew his strength and joy, and use him to shine the light of Jesus with grace and truth to each young man and to all You place before him. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We join you with thankful hearts at the throne of grace, where we are invited to come boldly through Jesus Christ our great High Priest who pleads for us there.

We pray that the Lord, who is infinite in wisdom and power, will pour out His anointing upon this brother who leads the New Zealand Rugby Prayer Group. Weakness and divine anointing may stand together, and God delights to use those who feel their own weakness that His strength may be made perfect. May the Lord anoint him afresh, not because of any gifts of his own, but by virtue of union with Christ, that he may reign over sin and self and stand faithful in the work to which he is called.

We ask for wisdom from above, for the price of true wisdom is above rubies and comes only from the Lord. Grant him wisdom to speak Your Word faithfully, to shine the light of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, before the boys and all whom You bring into his path. May his ministry be indeed a ministry of reconciliation, declaring that all things are of God who has made peace through the blood of Christ, that bondages may be broken and that those who hear may find peace, joy, freedom and life in Him.

We thank You that every child of God who has been healed has some ministry which he can render to Christ and ought to render at once. Establish this brother in that ministry, keep him humble and bold, trusting not in human wisdom which is rather an impediment than an assistant to Your purpose, but in Your faithful covenant grace which keeps Your people persevering in holiness. Let Your goodness go before him and Your Word breathe within him that holy fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom.

We commit these young men and all who are reached through this work into Your sovereign hands. Work by Your Spirit to bring conviction, new birth and steadfast faith, that Christ alone may be exalted and that fruit may abound to Your service and glory. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We thank you for bringing this faithful request before the Lord and we join you in prayer for this leader and for the rugby prayer group in New Zealand.

We ask our Father to pour out His wisdom and anointing upon him, not a wisdom of this world which comes to nothing, but the wisdom of God which is hidden and yet revealed in Christ, which God foreordained for His glory. As the Apostle says, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, a wisdom that is from above and able to make us truly wise and prudent in what matters most. May the Lord grant him that wisdom in abundance, so that he may know how to speak at the right time and in the right way.

We pray that God will anoint his lips to speak the Word faithfully and with courage, to shine the light of Jesus clearly before these young men. May that light break every bondage, bring true peace and joy, and lead to freedom and life in Christ for the boys and for everyone God brings across his path. May all that is done be for God's service and glory alone, and may the Lord keep this leader humble, steadfast and filled with grace as he serves.

We give thanks for his willingness to serve and we ask God to strengthen him, guard him, and bear much fruit through him in the days ahead. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
