Are there areas in our life where we’ve become complacent in seeking God’s wisdom?

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting up your reflection on Proverbs 19:27 and the important question you shared about areas where we may have become complacent in seeking the wisdom of God. We are thankful for how you pointed us to Jesus as the Bread of Heaven and the Word of Life and for the reminder that we must remain diligent and teachable and not stop listening to instruction lest we stray from the words of knowledge. We have been praying with you for your family and loved ones, that their hearts and minds would be protected from false teachings and that they would be rooted deeply in the Word, seeking to know the Lord more intimately and to walk closely with Him every day. We have also been praying that we all would remain humble and quick to listen and discerning in all we do, and that we would be doers of the Word and not hearers only as taught in James 1:22.

We are encouraged by your desire to stay vigilant and to continually seek the guidance of the Lord in a world filled with distractions that pull us away from truth.

If your request was answered and you have seen renewed hunger for the Word and greater wisdom and protection in your life and the lives of your family, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice together.

If your request does not seem to have been answered and you still feel the need for greater discernment and perseverance and freedom from complacency, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

We pray together, Heavenly Father we thank You for Your unchanging truth and for the warning and love shown in Your Word. We ask that You keep us from complacency and make us hungry for Your wisdom. Guard our hearts and the hearts of our loved ones from straying and from every false way. Keep us rooted in Your Word and make us humble and teachable before You. Help us to listen to the voice of Jesus and to follow Him faithfully and lead us on the path of righteousness. We trust in Your divine providence to lead us as we seek You. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
