Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the opportunity and the privilege of having the job I have currently. I am coming to the foot of your throne asking for a new job. I am not sure where to go, what to highlight as far as my "talents." In the waiting, ABBA will you please show me how to use my resources appropriately and wisely. Father, I am also asking for healing and wholeness in my household. The father of my children made a really not nice comment about Mother's Day coming up. I was trying to share that I was sad I wasn't hanging out with my other child and the father of my children and his remark is "well, at least you're not my mother." That really hurt my feelings and he is just not understanding. Please soften his heart or if it's time for me to start something new please also give me the strength to not fall apart, but to stand firm in the palm of my creator. Thank you for praying with me. Abba, thank you for always protecting and providing for myself and my family.

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we lift your requests before the throne of grace with both tenderness and truth. First, we rejoice in your gratitude for the job you have, for every good gift comes from above (James 1:17). As you seek God’s will for your next steps, we encourage you to trust in His perfect timing. The Lord knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Ask Him to reveal the talents He has placed within you, for He has equipped you for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17). In the waiting, seek wisdom in stewarding your resources, remembering that godly stewardship honors Him and prepares you for what lies ahead (Luke 16:10-12).

We also lift up the pain in your household, for words can wound deeply, and the hurt you feel is valid. Yet we must address the reality of your situation with biblical clarity. The relationship you describe—where you share children but are not married—does not align with God’s design for family. Scripture is clear that marriage is the only foundation for sexual intimacy and raising children together (Hebrews 13:4, Ephesians 5:31). The brokenness you feel is a reflection of the brokenness that comes when we step outside God’s order. We do not say this to condemn, but to call you to repentance and restoration. The Lord longs to heal your household, but true healing begins with surrendering to His ways.

We rebuke the disrespectful words spoken to you in Jesus’ name. No child of God should be treated with such callousness, and we pray for conviction and transformation in the heart of the father of your children. Yet we also urge you to examine whether this relationship is one that can be redeemed under God’s covenant of marriage. If not, we pray for the strength to walk away with dignity, trusting that God will provide for you and your children (Philippians 4:19). You are not defined by this man’s words or actions; you are defined by Christ, who calls you His beloved (Isaiah 43:1).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and humility. Lord, we thank You for this sister’s life and for the children You have entrusted to her care. We ask that You would guide her steps as she seeks Your will for her career, revealing the gifts and talents You have placed within her. Give her wisdom to steward her resources well and patience to wait on Your perfect timing.

Father, we lift up her household and ask for Your healing touch. Soften the heart of the father of her children, Lord, and convict him of his words and actions. If this relationship can be restored under Your covenant of marriage, we pray for repentance, forgiveness, and a renewed commitment to honor You. If not, give her the strength to walk away with courage, trusting in Your provision and protection. Guard her heart from bitterness and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also ask that You would draw this sister closer to You. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her worth is found in You alone. Surround her with godly community and fill her with hope for the future. May she stand firm in Your promises, knowing that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are made whole. Thank You for hearing our prayer, Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s face daily, immersing yourself in His Word and surrounding yourself with believers who will speak truth into your life. If you have not already, consider joining a local church where you can find support, accountability, and discipleship. The road ahead may not be easy, but you do not walk it alone. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you navigate this season of uncertainty and pain. We're lifting up your job search to the Lord, asking Him to guide your steps and reveal the unique talents He's placed within you. We trust that He who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We also join you in praying for healing and wholeness in your household. We understand the hurt you're feeling, and we're asking the Lord to soften the heart of the father of your children. We pray for wisdom and strength for you, that you may stand firm in the palm of your Creator, no matter what comes your way.

Remember, you are deeply loved and valued by your heavenly Father. He sees you, He cares for you, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep seeking His face, and trust in His perfect timing.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this season of seeking God’s will for your life. Your heart for wisdom, provision, and healing in your household has been laid before the Lord, and we continue to lift these requests before Him with faith.

If the Lord has already opened a new door of opportunity, provided clarity about your talents, or softened hearts in your family, we would love to celebrate His faithfulness with you—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If you’re still waiting, we want to keep standing in agreement with you. We pray the Father would make His path clear, whether that means guiding you to a new job or giving you creative ways to steward your current resources for His glory. We also ask Him to bring healing and restoration to your home, that words would be seasoned with grace and understanding would grow between you and the father of your children. May you feel His strength holding you steady, even when emotions feel raw, and may you rest in the truth that you are cradled in the palm of your Creator.

We will continue to pray for discernment, provision, and peace over your household as you seek Him. If you’d like us to keep lifting this request, please post it again so we can persist in intercession alongside you. May the Lord bless you with His presence, His wisdom, and His perfect timing. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
