Gods will and ways to ###s heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ### into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Make me hi PRIORITY. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord with both tenderness and truth. First, we rejoice that you acknowledge Jesus as your mediator, this is the foundation of all true prayer, for Scripture declares, "There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His name that we approach the Father, and we are grateful you have done so.

Your desire for a godly marriage and a Christ-centered family is beautiful and aligns with God’s design. The Bible affirms, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). However, we must gently address a few areas where your prayer leans more toward personal longing than surrender to God’s will. You ask for the Lord to make you a priority in this man’s life, to stir romance within him, and to shape him into a provider, yet Scripture reminds us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). True fulfillment comes when our desires align with His, not when we demand He conform to ours.

We also notice an emphasis on emotional and relational outcomes that may not yet be rooted in godly wisdom. The Bible warns, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man is not a committed follower of Christ, we must pause and seek the Lord’s guidance, for marriage is a sacred covenant meant to reflect Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If he is a believer, we rejoice, but if not, we must rebuke the potential for spiritual compromise and ask the Lord to reveal His perfect will, even if it means waiting or letting go.

Your prayer for marriage and a united family is noble, but we must also address the importance of purity. If this relationship has involved physical intimacy outside of marriage, we must repent and seek the Lord’s forgiveness, for "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If this is the case, we urge you to step back, seek accountability, and allow the Lord to restore holiness before moving forward.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this sister and her desires for marriage and family. We ask that You would align her heart with Yours, that she would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Father, if this man is Your choice for her, we pray You would confirm it clearly through Your Word, prayer, and godly counsel. If he is not, we ask that You close the door gently and lead her to the one You have prepared for her.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of impatience or control, and we ask that You replace it with Your peace. Help her to trust in Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). If there has been any sin in this relationship, we ask for Your forgiveness and restoration. Cleanse her heart and lead her in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).

Father, we pray for this man, if he is Your son, that You would draw him closer to You, mature him in faith, and prepare him to be a godly husband and stepfather. If he is not the one, we ask that You would remove him from her life in a way that brings glory to Your name.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You be the center of this relationship. May Your will be done, not ours. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom through His Word and godly counsel. Spend time in prayer, asking Him to reveal His will, not just for this relationship, but for your life as a whole. If this man is the one, the Lord will confirm it. If not, trust that He has someone even better prepared for you. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your eyes on Christ, and He will guide you every step of the way.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us so openly. We can hear how much you long for this relationship to grow into something lasting and good, not just for you, but for your boys as well. That hope matters deeply, and it’s not wrong to carry it before the Lord.

What often helps us most in these tender early days is not trying harder to stir someone else’s heart, but bringing our own hopes back to God with open hands. Right now your prayer is full of very specific outcomes: that would feel a spark, see you as a priority, declare his love, and eventually become the husband and stepdad you envision. Those are real desires, and God welcomes them. But sometimes we cling so tightly to a particular script that we miss what He is actually doing, or not doing. His ways might include asking you to wait longer than feels comfortable, or to see a red flag you’d rather overlook because you want this so badly.

One practical next step is this: before you pray again for his heart and mind, ask God to quiet your own heart first. Ask Him to help you truly mean “Your will above all else,” even if that will looks different than the dream you’ve been holding. A second step is to invite a mature, trusted Christian friend, someone who knows you well and loves your boys, to pray with you honestly about this situation. Let them help you listen for the Lord’s direction rather than just your own.

We pray for you now.

Father, thank you for holding every one of these hopes. Quiet ’s heart, give her patience, and help her trust you more than she trusts the outcome she wants. Protect her from rushing into something that isn’t your best, and give her clear peace, or a holy disturbance, if this relationship isn’t where you’re leading. Guard her children, and guide the man she’s praying for into all the goodness you have for him, whether or not that includes her life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The heart is a master of holy camouflage, so that even a prayer may be offered up as incense to God while the fire under it burns with self. You ask for God’s will and ways to rule in this man’s heart, but hear the rest: “Make me his priority. Stir a romance. Let him declare his love. Let him see me as a perfect fit.” Is this a petition surrendered, or a demand dressed in devotion? I tremble to think how often we cry, “Thy will be done,” while our clenched hands are holding out our own design for the Almighty to sign. The carnal mind will chase any vanity and never confess, “There is no hope,” but will weary itself changing direction while keeping the same idol. Examine your heart, lest this be the very subtlety Isaiah describes, a hope that is no hope, because it clings to a creature rather than the Creator.

What then of this man? You would have God shape him into a provider, a lover, a stepfather. But God’s shaping is not a smoothing of the clay for our pleasure; it is a breaking of the image of self that Christ might be formed in him. If this man be one of Christ’s own, the Lord may indeed touch his heart, but it will be with the sword that pierces, not the feather that tickles. A saving impression is always a prick in the heart, painful, deep, inward. Are you willing that God’s way with him should be through sorrow, conviction, and the uprooting of all that is not of grace? Or do you only wish him sweetened toward you? The love of the Redeemer for His people is not a soft sentiment that winks at sin; it is a fire that devours dross. Pray rather that both your hearts be cut to the quick by the law that slays all self-righteousness, and then bound up by that love which passes knowledge, the love of Christ dying for His friends. That is a ground of union which earth’s fondest flames cannot equal.

You speak of a future together, marriage, a united family. These are good in their ordained place, yet have you laid them upon the altar and given God leave to refuse them? Hope that grasps only what it sees is not the hope of the saints. True hope begins often with “no hope” in the creature, that it may end with “hope” in God. When a soul discovers that the dunghill of its own merits will never be its portion again, but that glory at the right hand of the Eternal is its inheritance, then love to the Savior kindles. Let this man’s affection for you, or yours for him, never be the measure of your peace. Did the Lord Jesus wait for your loveliness before He set His love upon you? No, He loved thee without change, without limit, when thou wast in thy blood, and said unto thee, “Live!” That is the wellspring from which all pure human affection must flow. Drink there first, or you will poison your earthly cup with demanding thirst.

It is not wrong to desire a companion, but it is deadly to make a secret bargaining with heaven, as though God must smile upon your arrangement else you will not count Him good. Jesus said, “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” What commandment is chief? “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart.” Until Christ is the unrivaled priority, every other love will groan and ache. Commend this man and your boys to the pierced hands that bear the nail-prints, hands that have engraven their names if they are His. But cease to dictate the terms of kindness; the Lord who remembers our poor love shall not forget His own, and He is faithful. If He withholds this man, it is because He has a better gift; if He gives him, it will be after a seasoning of patience that works humility.

Let your prayer be amended, then, to this: “Father, glorify thyself in me and in him. Purge our hearts of every idol. Whether we walk together or apart, let us both know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, and be found in Him, justified freely by His blood. I leave my desires at the foot of the cross; do as seemeth good in thy sight.” Then, whether hope deferred or hope fulfilled, thou shalt not be wearied in the length of the way, for Christ Himself shall be thy hope, and no soul ever made Him its all and found Him insufficient.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have laid your desires before God, and that is good, but you have also told Him precisely what He must do: make you this man’s priority, stir a romance, spark feelings in him, cause him to see you as a perfect fit, and declare his love aloud. You ask for God’s will, yet you fill the prayer with your own will, as if the Almighty needed instruction on how to bless you. True prayer does not dictate terms; it bows low and says, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Consider how you end: “our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, a united family.” You have already drawn the entire map and asked God to sign it. But the heart and mind belong to God alone. Others have no power to change them, and neither do your anxious pleas. If the Lord opens a door, it is for His purposes, not necessarily to fulfill a romance you have imagined. Be careful that you do not name His providence after your own longings.

You want to be his priority. Yet no human creature deserves to sit on that throne. Only God claims that place, and to demand it from a mortal is to set up an idol in your heart. What if God’s will for this man is different? What if the Spirit is calling you instead to make Christ your priority, to bind your heart and mind to Him alone? The soul that is wedded to Christ never fears earthly disappointment, for it has a Husband who cannot fail.

I do not condemn marriage; it is honorable. But if you enter it with a heart full of demands, you will find bitterness. The apostles teach that a widow or any unmarried woman may marry if she cannot exercise self-control, but she is happier if she remains as she is, free to care for the things of the Lord without distraction. Yet that teaching applies only when marriage does not violate God’s law. I do not know your past, but I know that many rush into new unions while still bound in God’s eyes to a former spouse. Search your conscience: if you are divorced, is it for a cause that Scripture allows? No prayer can force God’s blessing on a union He calls adultery. Do not presume on His mercy while holding onto a forbidden hope.

Instead of pleading for a man’s affection, pray that your own heart may become a dwelling place of the Spirit. Give alms; repent of every secret sin; fast and weep over your soul’s laxity. When Hannah desired a child, she poured out her anguish without sound, and God heard. She did not specify, “Make my son a great prophet” or “Give me a better standing than Peninnah.” She left the outcome to the Lord, and He gave more than she dreamed. Imitate her. Ask not for a man to value you; ask that you may value holiness above all. Ask not for a spark in his heart; ask that a flame of divine love be kindled in yours.

If God intends this relationship for your good and your children’s upbringing, He will bring it to pass without your frantic management. If He does not, then any union you force will be a snare. Men are not to be shaped into providers on demand. A godly husband is one whom God Himself shapes through years of obedience, not a creature you summon by naming his qualities in prayer.

Leave your interests to Him. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the ravens will not forget your needs. But first seek His kingdom and His righteousness, and these things will be added in their proper measure. Lay down your list of requirements. Cease telling heaven what must happen. Let your only cry be, “Lord, make me Yours, and do with me as You see fit.” Until your will is swallowed up in His, you are not praying; you are merely worrying aloud.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your prayer with us. It is clear that you genuinely desire God’s will and have placed this relationship in His hands. That is the right place to start. But as I consider your words, I want to gently invite you to examine the kind of love you are asking for and the posture of your own heart before the Lord.

You have asked that God make you this man’s priority, that He stir a deep spark of romance within him, and that this relationship grow until he openly declares his love for you. Those longings are understandable, yet they reveal a strong focus on what you need another person to feel and do. When you read the Scriptures, the love that the Spirit produces in us is entirely different from the anxious, grasping love the world celebrates. This true love does not seek its own way. It is patient. It is kind. It does not demand that another person’s heart be shaped around my expectations. The world often reduces love to a feeling or a sexual desire, even using the phrase “making love” for something that has nothing to do with the self-giving love of Christ. But the fruit of the Holy Spirit is a love that gives itself away, just as Christ gave Himself for us. That kind of love does not urge, “make me his priority,” but asks, “Lord, how can I serve and honor You in this?” A love that insists on its own fulfillment has not yet learned to rest in the perfect love of God for you.

I am not saying your desire for a loving husband and a father for your boys is wrong. It is a good thing to want. But your deepest security and your true marriage have already been secured. You are united with Christ. His love for you is not conditional, not hesitant, not waiting on a video call or a visa. He knows you completely and yet He loves you with an everlasting, fierce devotion. When that reality grips your heart, it changes how you pray about anything else. Instead of “Lord, make him see my value,” you can say, “Lord, I trust that my value is already settled in You. If this relationship is Your plan, let it unfold in Your time and in a way that reflects Your self-giving love, not my need to be affirmed.” You see, God is jealous for your love. He does not want any human attachment to eclipse your love for Him. And when you clutch tightly to a hoped-for outcome, even a godly one, you may be replacing a living relationship of trust with a quiet idol.

So I encourage you to bring your desires to God and leave them there, without trying to force His hand through the intensity of your requests. Let the love of Christ constrain you: that love which does not have to demand its own way, because it knows that the Father’s plan is always better than our own. Walk in love as He loved, giving Himself freely for an offering to God. If this man is to become part of your life, the foundation must be built on that same self-giving, patient, and pure love, one that waits without manipulation and seeks the other’s highest good in God’s order, not mere emotional fulfillment.

Press into the Lord’s love for you right now. Let Him fill the emptiness that fuels the anxious longing. His Spirit will produce in you a love that suffers long and is kind, that does not envy, that does not parade itself. And from that place of quiet, surrendered trust, you can pray, “Thy will be done,” and mean it with your whole heart, not as a phrase to open the door for a petition, but as the genuine rest of a soul that has found its greatest treasure in God alone.
