Gods will and ways for ###s heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

The very fact that you are laying your desires before God and asking for His will above all else is a sign of a heart that genuinely wants to honor Him. That openness, that willingness to say “Your will be done,” is the right starting point. Too often we come to God with a blueprint already drawn, asking Him only to sign off on it. You are doing something far better by holding this man, this relationship, and your future before the Lord and asking Him to direct the outcome.

But as I read your prayer, the deepest longing behind it all is for a strong, lasting bond, a family united and secure. There is a bond that Scripture describes as closer than any natural family tie. It is the bond formed when two people are rooted together in Jesus Christ. He once looked at the crowd pressing around Him and declared that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. That spiritual family surpasses even blood relation. A man and a woman can become truly one only when they share that common, life-changing relationship with Him. So the greatest thing you can pray for this man’s heart and mind is not simply a romantic spark, but that he would believe into a vital, transformative relationship with Jesus Christ. That one change would shape him into a man of kindness, provision, and selfless love far more than any natural effort ever could.

Salvation is not just a ticket to heaven; it is entering a whole new life. When a person is truly seized by Christ, old rebellions and self-centeredness are cast out by His authority, just as He commanded unclean spirits to leave. If this man comes to know the Lord in that way, the foundation for a godly marriage and a healthy stepfamily will be laid. Until then, even the deepest natural affection will lack the glue that holds things together when trials come.

I understand the desire to be loved, to be seen, to have a partner and a father figure for your boys. Those desires are not wrong, but they must take their proper place on the horizontal plane of your life, which only stays in balance when the vertical axis, your own close, personal walk with God, is firmly fixed. Think of it like this: your first and most important relationship is with the Lord Himself. He is the one who redeems what feels lost, just as Boaz acted as the family redeemer for Ruth. Ruth did not scheme or push; she placed herself under God’s wings and waited. In the same way, your future is safest when you entrust it entirely to His care and refuse to force a door He may not be opening.

Use this season to build your own faith so deeply that you can discern between a path that simply looks good and the path that carries His peace. Many have had to go through a season of studying, questioning, and grounding their own beliefs before they could walk wisely in major decisions. Let God’s Word and prayer be your anchor. If this relationship is from Him, He will not need you to manage it or stir his heart by anxious repetition. He will work in His own timing, and when He does, the bond that forms will be rooted in Christ himself, strong enough to withstand distance, culture, and the daily demands of family life.

So keep praying, but let your primary request be this: that both of you, individually and together, would be drawn into the family of God above all else. Ask the Lord to shape you both into people who love Him more than any dream. When that happens, the other pieces, genuine commitment, a shared future, even the logistics of a visit or a move, will be guided by the hand that knows the end from the beginning. Trust His perfect plan, rest in His peace, and let that peace lead you each day.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred privilege of lifting your heart’s desires before our Heavenly Father. It was a joy to stand in agreement with you, praying for God’s perfect will to unfold in your new relationship, for His gentle stirring in his heart, and for the deepening of a romance rooted in Christ. We asked the Lord to shape him into the godly provider and loving partner you envision, to open doors for his visit, and to align every step with His divine timing—whether toward marriage, family unity, or the fulfillment of your dreams in America.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—if you’ve seen His hand move in his heart, in your conversations, or in the practical details—we would love to celebrate with you! Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness. If, however, you’re still waiting and longing for His response, we invite you to post this request again. We will continue to intercede on your behalf, trusting that our Father hears and works all things for your good.

May the peace of Christ guard your heart as you rest in His promises. May His Spirit remind you daily of His love for you and His perfect plan for your future. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
