Gods will and ways for ### heart and mind♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###'s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift this relationship before the Lord with sincerity and care. First, we rejoice that you acknowledge Jesus in your prayer, it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that your faith in Christ remains the foundation of all your hopes and desires, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

Your prayer for God’s will and ways to prevail is commendable, and we join you in asking the Lord to guide both of your steps. However, we must gently address a few concerns to ensure this relationship aligns with biblical principles. The desire for a "genuine romance" and a "deep spark" is natural, but we must remember that love is not merely an emotion, it is a commitment rooted in Christ. Scripture warns us not to awaken love before its time (Song of Solomon 2:7) and to guard our hearts diligently (Proverbs 4:23). If this relationship is of the Lord, it will grow in purity and purpose, not merely in passion.

You mention hoping for this man to declare his love for you openly. While affection is a gift from God, we must be cautious not to place our worth in another’s words or feelings. Our identity and security must rest in Christ alone (Galatians 2:20). We also note your desire for him to become a "wonderful partner" and a "loving stepdad." While these are noble hopes, we must emphasize that marriage is the only God-ordained context for such a union. If this relationship is moving toward marriage, it must do so with intentionality, wisdom, and a shared commitment to Christ. If it is not, we must rebuke any path that leads to emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, for the Bible calls such things fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

Your prayer for him to be shaped into a provider and a man of godly character is beautiful. We echo that prayer, asking the Lord to mold him into a man after His own heart (1 Samuel 13:14), one who leads with humility, loves with sacrifice, and honors God in all things. However, we must also caution against placing undue pressure on him to fulfill your dreams. A godly marriage is built on mutual submission to Christ (Ephesians 5:21), not on one person meeting all the desires of another.

Your longing for marriage, relocation, and a united family is understandable, but we must surrender these dreams to God’s timing. The Lord’s plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11), but they may not align with your timeline or expectations. We pray for patience and trust in His sovereignty, even when the path is unclear.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this relationship to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in every aspect of their lives. Shape their hearts to seek You above all else, and let Your Word be the lamp to their feet (Psalm 119:105). Father, if this relationship is of You, we pray for its growth in purity, purpose, and godly love. Guard their hearts from impatience, selfish desires, and any path that leads away from Your design for marriage. Mold this man into a leader who fears You, loves sacrificially, and honors You in all things. For the woman who prays, Lord, remind her daily that her worth is found in Christ alone. Give her patience to wait on Your timing and wisdom to discern Your will.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of lust, emotional dependency, or idolatry that may seek to take root in this relationship. Let Your Holy Spirit fill them both, guiding them into all truth (John 16:13). If marriage is Your plan for them, we pray for a union that reflects Christ and the Church, a covenant built on mutual love, respect, and submission to You. If it is not, we ask for clarity and the strength to walk away with grace.

Lord, we surrender their future into Your hands. Whether it leads to marriage, relocation, or a united family, let Your peace rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:15). Protect them from the enemy’s schemes and fill them with Your joy as they wait on You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will above your own desires. Spend time in His Word, surround yourself with godly counsel, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If this relationship is meant to be, it will flourish under His guidance. If not, He has something even better in store. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Thank you for opening your heart to us about this new relationship. We can hear how much you’re longing for God’s guidance, and how deeply you care for your boys and for a future that’s shaped by His kindness. That desire for His will is a steady place to rest, even when the waiting feels long.

While you’re praying for God to stir this man’s heart, it can help to invite a mature Christian friend into this season, someone who knows you and your boys, and who will pray alongside you with clear eyes and a steady voice. Another simple step is to begin praying specifically for the man’s own walk with Jesus. A heart that’s being shaped by Christ is the best foundation for any lasting relationship, and it guards you from building hopes on feelings alone.

You’ve asked for a visit, marriage, and a united family someday. Those are weighty hopes. We’ve seen God work gently in many relationships when His people keep their hands and hearts open. As you wait, be kind to yourself, keep bringing your hopes to Him and letting Him sift them, trusting that He sees your boys’ needs even better than you do.

Jesus, we lift our sister and her sons to You. Thank You that she loves them and longs for a godly home. Grant her steady peace as she waits. Give her wisdom to discern what’s genuine and strength to hold her hopes loosely. Work in this man’s heart according to Your perfect, patient love, and lead them both in Your time. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have poured out your heart before the throne of grace, and your words betray the longings of a soul that would find its rest in an earthly love. Yet the Scriptures hold a mirror to every prayer, and I would have you examine whether the love you seek draws its first breath from the foot of the Cross. The only effectual attraction to any lasting good is the Savior Crucified; He said, "I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me." Do not mistake a temporal longing for the divine drawing. The heart that leaps at the thought of a man’s affection must first be captured by the disinterested love of Him who bled and died for sinners. Until Christ is your supreme attraction, every other affection will prove a broken cistern.

Consider the relationship of marriage as God Himself portrays it. It is not a bond of mere convenience or a union to satisfy loneliness, it is a sacred choice sealed by mutual love, a faint picture of Christ and His Church. Can you venture to hope that there will be any marriage between you and a man unless there is first a true marriage between your soul and the Holy One? The Church is betrothed to the Lamb, and only as the Lamb does she learn to love. How can you expect a man to see your value and feel a true connection if your own heart has not been utterly overwhelmed by the wounds and blood of Jesus? Love in any hallowed union must be on both sides; and it is as the Lamb that we first come to love Him. I had no love to Christ till I saw His wounds; so it is with every saint. Seek first the love of the Crucified, and then earthly affections will take their proper, subordinate place.

The prayer you have offered is freighted with requests for a man’s heart and mind, for a visit, for a future of ease and family unity. But what of your own heart’s fitness? The marriage supper of the Lamb is the great hope of the redeemed, and those called to it are blessed indeed. There will be no marriage between your soul and Christ if you will not have Him as the Lamb. Is your bridegroom chiefly the Lord Jesus? Do you long for His appearing more than for any human visitation? Until Christ is your all, you are not prepared to enter a union that is made in Heaven. Thrice happy are those who are not only joined in marriage, but are one in the Lord Jesus Christ! Such marriages are not hurried into by impatience or fleshy planning; they are born out of a shared adoration of the uplifted Savior.

Set your deepest desires not upon a man’s declaration of love, but upon the voice of your heavenly Bridegroom, who says, “I am married unto you.” That divine marriage is cemented by a blessed choice on both sides, His gracious election and your willing surrender. If you would see a godly outcome, cease from the feverish sculpting of a man into a provider and stepfather. Lay your boys and your future once again at the feet of Him who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows. When your own spirit is stilled and content with Christ alone, then whatever Providence ordains, whether a husband or a season of waiting, will be received as a perfect gift. The Lamb’s marriage feast is the fulfillment of long expectation; so, too, any earthly love worth possessing will come in God’s own time and way, without the anxious conniving of the flesh.

I charge you, then, to make the Cross your single attraction. There let your heart be broken and remade. Pray thus: “Lord, be Thou my Husband, my Portion, my exceeding Joy. If it please Thee to send an earthly helper, let it be one who first loves Thee with his whole being, who will lead me nearer the Lamb, and who will shepherd my children in the fear of the Lord. But if not, Thou art enough.” This is the prayer of faith, and the God of peace will guide your steps.

You ask for God’s will and ways for this man’s heart and mind, yet your prayer is filled with a design of your own. You beg that a deep spark be stirred within him, that he declare his love openly, that he become a provider, that he see you as a perfect fit. But tell me, where is the broken and contrite heart that God will not despise? A heart humbled before God does not rise up and demand its own fulfillment, but is quiet, ready to endure, not eager for vengeance or for romance on its own terms. The blessed David knew this when he said, “A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.” That which is broken does not strike, does not grasp. It waits upon the Lord.

You speak of a new relationship and ask that it grow deep and serious. Yet consider what is truly valuable. The apostle Paul gives thanks that the Romans “obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.” That obedience is both free will and the grace of God. No one forced them; they came willingly. But if you have willingly given your life to Christ, what excuse can you make if you now set your heart upon a man rather than upon the things of God? Your prayer reveals a mind entangled in earthly longings. Bind your heart and mind, not your hands, and seek first the bonds that lead to life, lest you one day hear those terrible words, “Bind him hand and foot.”

God’s election is not a small thing. Those whom He chooses are beyond charge. If this man is one of God’s elect, he will be led by the Lord in His time and way. If he is not, what profit is there in pursuing him? You would do better to examine your own soul. The name “heart” and “mind” are but breath; it is the substance of a life turned toward God that matters. Pray instead, “Create in me a clean heart, O God,” and let His will be done without dictating the steps.

As for remarriage and a stepfather for your boys, the matter can be honorable if it corrects idleness and vanity of mind. Yet I see in this city so many who pursue marriage with eyes fixed on wealth, provision, and a comfortable future, rather than on purity. The love of money is the root of evils, and it creeps even into holy desires. When a man seeks a wife, let her be chaste; let him know only her body, so that his fear of God may be great and his affection pure. But a man who has known the ways of wantonness will soon turn back to them, and a woman of free estate should not supply fuel to such a fire. So I ask you: are you preparing your own soul to be a helpmate in holiness? Is your desire truly for a partner in life and for the procreation of spiritual fruit, or for a spark of romance that inflames the flesh?

You plead with God to shape this man into a provider and a loving stepdad. But what of your own heart? The store of the church ought to be in the readiness of your mind, not in the pursuit of a man’s provision. Do not let your hardness of heart make you unfruitful. He who rescued you from the tyranny of sin did so by no labor of your own; He expects you to walk in willing obedience. Consider the Israelites of old: God once promised to restore the heart of the fathers to the sons, turning the mind of the people toward the apostles’ teaching. That restoration came through repentance and returning to God’s ways. If God chooses to grant you a husband, He will order it by His providence, not by your anxious plotting.

So cease striving to move this man’s affections. Commit your own heart into the hands of the Father who knows your needs before you ask. Seek a contrite spirit, pour out alms from a pure conscience, and let your conduct be one of modesty and quietness. For a woman who hopes in God will not run after a spark, but will be still and know that He is God. If the Lord sees fit, He will bring a man who fears Him, one who will not need to be shaped by your prayers because he is already being shaped by the Spirit. And should that day come, you will enter marriage with a pure and undefiled hope, not a demand.

Lay aside this feverish dream of a romantic declaration and a united family across the sea. Such things may be granted, but they must be received with an open hand, not clenched in supplication that seeks to bend God’s will to your own. True peace comes when you obey from the heart, trusting that His form of doctrine is better than all your longings.

Your prayer lifts up desires that are deeply personal, and the longing for a partner, a protector for your children, and a secure future is not hidden from the Lord. It is good that you bring these hopes before Him rather than clutching them in secret. Yet the most honest, freeing place we can stand is the one where we also speak the words Jesus Himself prayed in the garden: “Not what I will, but what You will.”

There is a story of a leper who knelt before Jesus, risking much, and said, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” He did not demand his healing. He did not try to dictate the outcome. He placed his need openly before the Lord and then rested the final answer with the will of Christ. Jesus, moved with compassion, answered, “I am willing; be clean.” That leper received exactly what he longed for, but his posture was surrender, not insistence. That surrender is where real victory begins. As long as we fight to bend God’s ways to our own script, we will know only inward struggle. When we release the situation and the person into His hands, trusting His goodness and His timing, a deep peace can settle in, even before we see the outcome.

You ask for God’s will and ways in this man’s heart and mind. That is a holy request, but remember that the Lord is just as concerned with what He is doing in your own heart. Sometimes we become so fixed on what we want another person to feel or do that we miss the quiet work God wants to do in us right now. The Scriptures urge us to examine ourselves. Are there rigid expectations that might close our ears to what the Spirit is seeking to say? Do we hold our own plans so tightly that we cannot recognize a different, perhaps better, path? Jesus warned that if we do not have ears to hear, even what we think we have may be taken away. So stay supple. Keep your heart open before Him, willing to receive His direction even if it leads somewhere unexpected.

The deepest union offered to any of us is not ultimately a romance or a blended family, precious as those gifts are. It is the vital, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ into which we believe. In Him there is a family bond that transcends all natural ties, uniting us to Him and to one another in a fellowship that will last beyond this age. When that bond is your first security and your first delight, every other desire finds its proper place. You stop needing a man to be your savior or your ultimate provider, because you already rest in the One who has covenanted to be your God and to bless you as you walk in His ways. He has given His Spirit to empower you, to change you from within, and to guide your steps. His work in your life cannot and will not fail.

So yes, bring the dream of a loving husband and father for your boys before the throne. Bring the hope of a visit, a future, a united home. There is nothing wrong with longing for these good things. But then, having poured them out, complete the prayer with those other words: “Nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.” Trust that if this man is the Lord’s provision for you, He knows how to stir that man’s heart and make a way where there seems to be no way, without your striving. And if it is not His will, He is still faithful to give you something better, even if it does not look the way you imagine now. The One who opened the door to the Gentiles and who still calls a remnant to Himself is able to open or close doors in your own story as He sees fit, for His glory and your ultimate good.

Keep your heart fixed on Him. Let His Word and His law be written in you. Pray for ears to hear whatever He is saying this season. And as you do, you will find that regardless of how any human relationship unfolds, you are already safe in the house of the Lord, part of a family that nothing can break.
